Remarks

The positive reviews are- it is huge college and its education systems are pretty high level.the professors really quality based teacher and very helpful.library is a positive side of this college. Negative review- distance is negative thing from me.and some of the teacher are real selfish.they try to make mental pressure on the students because of not taking outside tution from them.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

It is a course of 3 years minimum. It is Biochemistry. This is subject based on the biochemical part of natural lives. It depends on 3-4 subjects.physical, organic, inorganic, biochemistry. Then exam structures are divided into three parts.pre test, test and final.

Placement Experience

0.5

You have to find your own job in the basis of your merit. After graduation,if anyone tries to find a job,he or she must have to crack those particular job exams. No, there is no college internship.you have to find on you own.

College Events

4.5

The events are pretty good here.First they welcome every new student via the freshers program. Where everyone participates equally. Then there are college social where many renown people come. There are many environment related programs. But the most exciting things on the college is the Annual Sports.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For the case of my subject, the fees structure are really expensive.this subject is a semi government aided subject and the laboratory costs are pretty high. That why the college demands pretty high from the students.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got the scholarship named Swami Vivekananda merit cum mean scholarship in college.I was really satisfied how the college authority helped me and I'm thankful for that.other than that, the college offers many more scholarships which I can't finish writtting it down here.

Campus Life

4.5

Extracurricular activites are included dancing, singing, acting, yoga etc.Students perforns all over the years on above mentioned events. The labs are pretty big here and labs have their new version of instruments. Sports like football, cricket, carrom, table tennis, badminton are played here.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network are helpful. But sometimes they behave rudely to the juniors.but senior students are really helpful. They guide the junior in the circle of the year. They study together, play together. They also participates in some events jointly.

Admission

First I submitted my online applocation. They I got into the merit list. Then I had verified my hard copies of my all certificates. Then I went to college and there I got the online pay slip.I paid the amount of admission fees. Then I got into the college and got my id card.

Faculty

4

It is really a big faculty on my college. There are parkings, canteen,a big ground, trees, four huge buildings, toilers in every building and floor. The departments are equally seperated by each other. There are common room also.

Indira Gandhi National Open University - [IGNOU], Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Mathematics)

Placement Experience:

Placements in IGNOU are quite limited compared to regular universities. Since IGNOU is an open and distance learning university, it does not have a strong campus placement system like DU or private colleges. There is a Campus Placement Cell (CPC) that conducts job fairs and recruitment drives at some regional centers, but these are not very frequent and mostly depend on the location. Usually, students who are in their final year or have completed the course can apply, but there is no fixed semester rule since the system is flexible. The companies that visit are not very large in number and vary every year. Some private firms, NGOs, BPOs, insurance companies, and small IT firms have participated in the past. The roles are generally entry-level such as sales, customer support, data entry, insurance advisor, or junior IT support. There are very limited opportunities for core mathematics or research roles through placements. As far as packages are concerned, the average package is usually around ?2.5 LPA to ?4 LPA, but since IGNOU is an open university, it cannot be expected to have the same placement levels as regular colleges with full-time classes. Also, the percentage of students placed is very small because most IGNOU students are either working professionals, homemakers, or people preparing for competitive exams, so placements are not the main focus. Many students use the degree as a qualification while pursuing their own career path outside. I am currently in my 2nd year, so I do not have personal placement experience yet. The data I have mentioned here is based on internet sources and feedback from other IGNOU students. From what I have learned, placements exist but are very limited, and one should not rely only on them for career building.
