Course Curriculum Overview

I would like to rate my course 4 out of 5 because its a good course and helps us gain more knowledge in the tech field. Difficulty level is okayish. But i dont think that it prepares us for the real world applications

Placement Experience

for placements only 3rd year students can apply and the college doesn't even provide NOCs to srudent so that they can futher apply for internships. This college does provide placements opportunities but not for my course

Fees and Financial Aid

The financial aid is not provided and there are no scholarships either. The yearly fees of my course is approx 15,000. and I think it'll increse in every year. Although my college provides financial aid to EBC students .

Campus Life

My experience in Vivekananda College lies in the middle. It can bs better you know. Anuual fest takes place but it could be more better. It is because of our Principal. She stops children from doing many things.

Admission

I maily wanted to opt Shaheed Sukhdev for the BMS or BFIA course but unfortunately my marks weren't that good to get admission in that college. I gave CUET exam to get into vivekananda College and got 555 marks out of 800

Faculty

yess the faculties are easily approachable and they help us in many things and doubts. Some of them are very friendly and teach us in playful way while others are rude and not so good. exams are held every semester.

Night Life

It isn't safe to roam around our college at night. the area there is not good and is unsafe especially for girls. the locality is not safe. Gym remains locked everyday. my college doesn't provide hostel facilities.

USME DTU Economics Hons review

Placement Experience:

placement and internship fares are regularly conducted on campus where various companies which are mostly start-ups visit to recruit students for internships and entry level roles. Students become eligible for internships from the first year itself. placement opportunities are generally available after the completion of the full degree and only final year. Students are eligible to apply for full-time rules. last during our last internship and placement fair over 20 companies visited and recruited almost 150 candidates.There are no separate records distinguishing internship from placement.The highest package reported for economics honours is around 12 lakhs per annum and the average package is approximately five lakhs per annum.As per my future plans,I intend to pursue a masters degree after completing my undergraduate course.

DTU has a calming effect!

Placement Experience:

For USME, FMCG and Financial companies are the ones which are put in place. The only reason is that those are the companies where we can add value and placements of both courses of USME happens together and combined if I say around 75% students are placed. My plan though is to join GIPE after my graduation ends this year.

DTU USME is as good as it's engineering college.

Placement Experience:

DTU because East campus is more known for USME placements revolve around us. Now core companies of our sectors are the ones that deals with finance, insurance or stocks. So nearly 20-30 companies of that space or sector hires over 100 students of BAE every year.

Many companies come as ever since USME has been installed at the east campus the tie-ups with the brands happened before that. So we were etaught accordingly the war corporate wanted us and that is how this has been done with solid precision and thus our placements have never jolted.

There is a placement cell in Hansraj College which does provides placements of highest package around 25 lakh of last year and being median package around 7 lakhs, but this for selective courses like economics and BCom Honours and computer science Honours & few of mathematics honours while rest of the courses required to have different kind of skill sets can also go for placement depending up on the role that the companies bring to be hired for

DTU is Totally Worth Spending Time At!

Placement Experience:

Campus placements have been good from what I have noticed this year. BBA and BAE students get almost the same packages and same companies hire the students. Average package for BAE students is 5.5 Lakhs and for BBA it's a little high at 6 lakhs or so.

Our college has a very active and effective placement cell. Major companies like Goldman Sachs, Bain among many others come on campus for not just placements but also internships. Average and Median packages are between 8 and 10 lakh per annum, with highest packages going up to 25 lakhs. KM COLLEGE - FILLED WITH COMPLAINTS ?

Course Curriculum Overview:

Too vague to understand, feels extra burden of unnecessary irrelevant topics , extra papers like SEC/VAC simply add to the burden while barely providing with any skills and values as their name suggests . Studying them and preparing for exams add extra stress and unnecessary burden on them , diverting their focus from their core papers , which are already too huge and they study materials or readings simply fail to assist . Areas for improvement would be - proper structured study materials , also proper structured practical subjects / papers for students where they can actually learn or gain knowledge/skills which will be advantageous in their future .

Vivekananda College is a dream of every girl!

Hindi Hons are not offered by all DU colleges, as though my parents warned me for a girls college and top level girls colleges like the Gargi, LSR or KNC. So, with a score of 600 in UG CUET available girls college was ours. That is the procedure not just for our college but all the DU colleges. Firstly admission in the college are done under cuet examination we have to give that first then we have to apply for different university website for our admissions .and cuet is the only exam all the student have to give for the admissions and cuet examination experience is good as it is our first cbt based exam held . Studying in a girl's college of DU feels like...
