RNSIT : AN HONEST OPINIOIN

The coursework tought and explained are highly inspirational and relevant for the current curriculum set. A lot of seminars and programs from the industry are set which help students gather knowledge and skills in their respective fields and interests.

AP MOLLER MAERSK , SYSTEM GENRALE , DELLOITE , INFOSYS , SYNAMEDIA , ZOPSMART are the companies who came forth internships for CSE batch (2026) as of now (JUNE). Internships can be applied through college portal or individually and research internships are highly encouraged.

placements here at rnsit starts from the 5th semester itself where 3rd years are elligible for the various training and placement activities . Private companies come to train and guide students and make them industry ready. the highest package to a student is 56LPA and average rounds about 8LPA. More than 80% do get placed but a scrict criteria must be met which is dictated by the CDC and placement department.

yearly fees is approxiatly 2.6L inclusive of all extra fees. there is sholarships provided by state gov and also central gov ( if applicable pls do apply). One can also apply for CET based admission , fees is approximately 1.6L yearly.

Every year there is an organized events by the college famously known for its vibrance and sheer volume of peope it attracts . Last year Brodha V ( a famous and well known rapper in India ) performed and it was a blast. Alcohol is scrictly prohibuted within the campus (so no booze party if u are planning) and security is scrict. Library has more than a 1000 books ig , from science to fiction.For Sports there is a dedicated Student club named RSC (RNSIT SPORTS CLUB) which incorporates multiple sports and its competitions and tournaments etc. RSC regularly conducts recruitments and tournamnets like powerlifting , arm wrestling etc. There are multiple Student groups and clubs which are college funded and encouraged

I got all india rank of 42k in JEE mains , due to which i got a lower NIT (MECH ) , i also gave comedk and so i got a rank of 3269 and RNSIT was my 2nd choice in the concelling list , 1st choice was RVCE(rejected). I got the approval from the council on the first round of councelling (from CSE) . The reason of choosing this college is its eco-frindly campus , Good research oppertunities , frindly faculty and it's location in bangalore.

Being from CSE department the faculty to student ratio is approximately 3:16 . the professors are extreamly reachable and friendly , after class doubts or project ideas or research initiatives are highly encouraged. faculties here are highly professional and friendly , there are a total of 3 internals every semester and assignments for each subject varies as programming subjects have coding projects as assignments and demostrations in some theory subjects .

the library is open till 11pm , gym closes at 6pm(sadly) , i do not particularly know about the timings and restrictions of the hostle and individual blocks . public spaces include the gallary, amphitheatre and the temple premises. there is a b ground and 2 different grounds for sports and practice
