All about NSUT

My branch, Instrumentation and control embodies mostly electronics and electrical subjects. I think the first sem was quite inclusive of all our needs but there's too much saturation of electrical subjects in the second sem without any elective that ensures openness of mind.

Campus placements come for final year students, and also PPOs (pre placement offer) wherein you get hired just after the internship programme that companies offer on campus. The percentage of students getting placed is quite high, as compared to other colleges.

Since it's been an year I've enrolled into the university, I can tell about the fee structure on the basis of my experience until now. Initially after orientation and induction, we pay the fee year wise. The first year fee was around 2.7 lakhs, and it increases by a small factor each successive year. A total of 11.5-12lakhs would be spent on the degree.

There are various student run clubs and societies in which you can get enrolled on the basis of your accumen, network with minds with experience in whatever field you like, you'll always find someone pursuing something that you aspire to be. You can find brilliant mentorships , you just have to know what you want.

The major bet was DTU and I always kept NSUT above DTU, because of its emphasis on academics and also the safety parameters. Plus, the natural campus feels serene in bad days, DTU is more concrete, which is a personal preference. Admission is through jee mains, cutoff varies year to year.

The faculty member temperament highly depends on person to person. There is deep diversity when it comes to professors. Most of them are guest professors in the first year. As for approach ability, almost every faculty members is quite approachable.

Nightlife is crazy, because it's in a safe area in Delhi. As long as you're in college premises, you don't have to worry about a single thing. As far as outside is concerned, it's still safer as for Delhi. The girls hostel security is tight, nobody can enter.
