Course Curriculum Overview

I took Aerospace Engineering so I took it without having any idea and the course curriculumn made me fall in love with the course over time. Every subject branched out to the different parts of the aerospace industry and really helped us gain theoretical knowledge. We had lab classes as well where we got hands on experience on different equipment.

Class Size: 93Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees depends on how you do in the entrance exam. According to your rank, there are fee slabs, the higher slab the higher fee payment. If your CGPA decreases after joining your fee slab increases meaning you will have to pay. Management fees are set and won't change.

Campus Life

The campus has a vareity of clubs but are not that active. Many clubs include dance club, singing club, the literary club and many minute tech clubs. We have 3 major fests every year, Amritotsavam, Anokha, and Gokulshtami. There are a variety of sports being played too.

Admission

It is one of the few colleges that offer aerospace engineering as a course for an undergraduate program. I had applied to other colleges throughout India but none offered the course and/or have excessively large fee structure. I had not gotten into any of the IITs so this is the perfect second option because the standards are the same. This college also has a tie-up with reputable foreign universities who offer foreign exchange opportunities.

Faculty

Faculty members were all experienced, graduated from IITs and hold PHDs. Exams were conducted in the middle of the terms and af the end. We were graded on a 60-40 basis. As in the internsal exam marks + internal assesment marks were 60% and the end of the semester exam holds 40%. Internal Assesments include assignements, quizzes, presenations or viva. Faculties are very approachable and always read to help.

Night Life

There are 3 canteens which are the hub during the evening time. The university itself is beautiful and peaceful to walk around in. Hostel timings vary for girls and boys but are reasonable. During weekends, we go out of campus.

The curriculum behind or campus is very much updated and it is changing as the technology changes.As the present world is engaging with computer and artificial intelligence,I want to improve more knowledge and also want to compete with others.The time table and the devlopment technology followed by our university is devoloped so that only placement are recorded with high percentage when compared to other.The improvement should be observed only regarding labs.We have write examination for every 30 or 40 days , because there are 3 internal test ,semester and lab exams.Actually time is not sufficient but we have to do hardwork.when compared to other universities or colleges our exams arebwry hard.

Amrita and its Dubbing voice

I applied for vit, snu, cuet examination. I couldnt get vit because of high rank, in cuet exam i got seat at pondicherry university. but still chose amrita for its reputation, infrastructure, and curriculum. first you should attend an entrance examination called AEEE escpecially for amrita vishwa vidhyapeetham, which has 2 phases. after both phases you get placed in a ranking system. for each range of ranks each department holds a rank exceptancy of the entrance participants. other than AEEE you can also get throw using JEE marks...Read More

Great Academics, Peaceful Campus — But Not for the Free-Spirited

I had offers from VIT and SRM, but I chose Amrita (Coimbatore) because it felt more academically focused and value-driven. The environment was more disciplined, the faculty seemed more involved I did try for IITs and NITs through JEE Mains, but didn’t score high enough. Looking back, I could’ve managed time better during prep. As for admissions, Amrita has its own exam called AEEE, but they also accept JEE Mains scores.
