Course Curriculum Overview
The specific aspects of the curriculum that made me choose this course was how the course went beyond the horizon of just typical, conventional literature. It has made me study about disable literature, dalit literature, regional literature, indian, european, american literature and many more, making me expand my horizon and delve deeper into the world of academia.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees is 20000 There are scholarships available in college according to academics and financial statuses as well. It happens on a year to year basis, and a proper procedure for the same is followed.
Campus Life
My overall experience has been great! The annual festivals like Montage, and then various annual department events, open to every college in Delhi University, held in the months of February and March help students to engage well with other people, helping people to build their connections while at this event. Books are easily available.
Admission
The other colleges to which I applied for were Punjab University, Christ, Ashoka University and many more. My main reason for choosing this college was because of the faculty, the campus, the in campus placements, its focus on the course, making students well rounded and many more things!
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is the best one, and the faculty is very approachable. There have been instances where I have just walked into the staff room and talked with the teachers, because of the ease that they make you feel. There's Jobin Thomas, Susan George, Sugandha Sehgal, one of the best faculties out there, because of their immense knowledge. There are no such faculties that I haven't had a good rapport with. There are 6-7 exams, per semester, based on your paper selection, and they are pretty easy to navigate through.
Night Life
There isn't any particular nightlife in our college because there are no in housing facilities available at our college campus, and JMC is pretty strict when it comes to this, they don't necessarily let people hang around college after 6, thus say good bye to your night life here.
Other Applied Colleges
Chandigarh University - [CU] | Master of Arts [MA] (English)
