- Campus is filled with greener all around..
- Infrastructure is good in terms of classes and administrative buildings

- Some professors are alot biased to their regional students specially the haryana ones..
- The local peoples here are not that well behaved and have got bad eyes for girls..
- Hostel Management is not that good in terms of action taken to problems
Course Curriculum Overview
The IT branch is not that difficult to other branches..such as eleictrical and others..even the CS branch.. Tecahing is hood by few professors while irrelevant by many others Exams are moderately easy and moderately tough..it depends on the professors too for the checking and setting of the paper
Internships Opportunities
Most of the companies offer internship like JP MORGAN, Microsoft, Amazon, Accenture and others while these opportunities are limited and are mostly occupied by top students and the students are filtered on the basis of cgpa..
Placement Experience
From 7th semester the students are eligible for placements.. Companies visited are google, microsoft, amozo, JP Morgan, goldman sachs, Accentures, Infosys, tcs and others Around 70-80% students get placed every year and many students get ppo through on campus internships..

Year wise 180k For SC ST no tution fees Same for any student with family income less than 1LPA Registration fees is 1600 For SC/ST/students with fam income less than 1LPA.. TOTAL FEES = 248000 For students with fam income between 1 and 5 LPA.. TORAL FEES = 415000
Campus Life
Annual cultural fest is Confluence which ahs improved since last year.. And technical fest is techspardha which js mostly controlled by a club technobyte which doesn't do much activity and is overhyped.. techspardha is a below average event where alot of technical games and others are played but the winners are already decided with seniors setting their friends up as winners and getting the cash reward for their own merit not letting fresher's win those events.. Most of the clubs are meant for seniors looking at fresher's girls..they don't have much activity to do..and are really unknowing of what to do..
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities depends on the hostel you are alloted.. In first year I got H6..2 peoples were allted one room of single capacity which was very small..just 1 almirah..and 1 socket for charging wasn't enough for 2 peoples..2 beds 2 tables and 2 chairs in that small room was a bit too congested..while the food was decent at days while alot of time we had to eat outside as well due to poor mess and use of unhealthy oils..
Admission
The admission in NIT Kurukshetra is based on josaa counseling and JEE Mains examination... I got a rank of 8764 in jee mains..I wanted to take admission in IITs but didn't got a good rank in JEE advanced even after clearing it.. although I am satisfied with my branch rn
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is 1:15.. most of the faculties are well easy to communicate but few of them are just pathetic..I remember professor Vikash Choudhary of the humanities department..he doesn't even sllow us to drink water during his lecture..even 1 minute of late coming isn't allowed.. We have 2 mid sems of 15 marks each and an end sem exam of 50 marks.. Also practical exams are held for integrated subjects.. Exams are moderately tough..but it also depends upon the orofessor setting the question paper and checking it Few of the good faculties are Dr.Gajendra Tiwary a mathematics professor..Dr. Amandeep Kaur.. from CS department..and a few other.. including Dr.Rajesh Sharma from humanities department, he's very humble in nature and always ready to help..
Night Life
Nightlife is good because of the hostel and friends else their is no such canteens open..girls have intime of 8:30 pm while boys dont have any..the loaclity isn't safe to roam around even in days specially for girls..
