- First thing faculty are very helpful in academics along with other problems and they keep motivating us for studies and do some other extra curricular activities
- Events, my college has different societies means every department has it own societies and they do different kind of events they have their own fest which is very good
- Library, one of the best library of Delhi University which is also available on online mode and every book can be found their
Dislikes
- Old Block, as it name old block it standing since 1952 so its building is not as modern as other blocks
- Playground, our college does not have a very large ground
Course Curriculum Overview
So my course is physics honours I opted for this course because we have labs in which what we learn in theory classes we can do experiment and observe it in real life which is the best thing about my course Since course is physics honours if you want to go in research field you have different opportunity for it And if you do master in physics you can easily get a job in that specific area There is no need to change the curriculum We have semester exam once in every semester and that is not so tough. You can say it moderate
Fees and Financial Aid
For every year i have to pay 20745 Means for 3 year i have to pay a total amount of 62235 And this is final figure and fixed (not increasing) Hence i will complete my course in ?62235 with no other charges. And fees for all categories is same in same course And some fee range for other courses other than mine from ?15000 to ?22000 There is no concession on fee on basis of category My college has different type of scholarship named as financial help and various other some are on the basis of merit in 2nd and 3rd year.
Campus Life
So as i said earlier we have different societies and every societies have there fest And we have our annual fest named as Sabrang Library is full of books anyone can find any book from there course along with other book or journal Every department has it owns smart class We have different types of sports activities in the campus
Admission
Since Delhi University have a wide range of range college divided in three campus north south and off And we to fill up preference for all college according to your choice. I got Dyal Singh College but not my choice of course thats why i opted for upgrade and got Physics Hons in Deshbandhu College. Admission process in very simple and it is online where we have to only fill up our preference and pay our fees then our seat is confirmed
Faculty
Faculty to students ratio is fine and every faculty is approachable regarding any problem academic to others I like Brijmohan sir , Priyanka Maam and Manju Maam they are the faculty i like most Since they have different teaching style which is easily understandable and in lab they help with experiment I don't i dislike any of my faculty Every semester we have one exam which is not so tough if you have some basic knowledge about your subject and you study 1 day before exam
Night Life
So my college does provide hostel but it is situated in a residential area so in night you can do to much of fun but you can enjoy outside the campus there are so many park and a very famous park called Chitranjan Park
