Likes

I mean its just my college(will have memories) and obviously my friends but thats it
I liked the fact that inspite of the small campus they try to host events
A lot of seminars,ted talks are conducted

The cse department especially is the worst

Course Curriculum Overview

i chose this college because this is near my place the vtu syllabus is outdated i highly recommend people not to join any vtu affiliated college the teachers should teach whats relevant every sem is about 4 months each

the placements take place all the students only should learn skills a lot of companies visit amazon is the recent big company which came according to my guess around 5 of them got hired after engineering i would do masters

Fees and Financial Aid

CET:130000 per year COMEDK:250000 per year MANAGEMENT FOR CSE:650000 (2022 batch) scholarships are not available and then people can get in through jee mains too but thats only allowed for some people(reservation)

Campus Life

the campus life is the worst friends you will find but i highly suggest you to not join this college no campus nothing everything is outdated cse department is strict you will have fun outside college rather than inside of it

Admission

I applied to bms through management but couldnt get a seat i chose this college because this is near my house the admission process of kcet is simple the people within the rank specificd by the college for each branch get selected kcet comedk jee mains are some of the ways you can get in cutoffs can be checked on their websites

Faculty

faculty to student ratio will be 65:1 the cse department is very strict i dont like this teacher named shruthi gowda from cse whos probably the worst teacher ever the exams depend on which course you have taken the vtu curriculum is easy but the corrections are the worst outdated syllabus

Night Life

theres one specific canteen but since its a shared campus other canteens can ve accessed too overall theres 3 hostel timings am not sure because i dont live in a hostel there are no hangout places theres vv puram food street which is famous if you want pubs to party go to mg road in metro which is right next to college

Good College with Supportive Faculty and Decent Placements

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

About my college

Placement Experience:

After completion of the course students are divided to teachers and the food industries are come to college and interview us and the student is eligible they can select. Some standard food related companies are visited nestle, ITC mysore , sulawines and some other companies also. The CGPA of the students is 7.5 or more is good below this also get selected but more than 7.5 is good. My plan is after completion of course then do work and get some experience in the industries and some of the time I am going to select a product and launch it over the world.

They start conducting placements activities from the 2nd year itself like AMCAT preparation, skillrack, etc. So the students become eligible for campus placements from 7th sem itself. Many companies like TCS, Diggibyte, Zoho,etc. and the offers are from 3 lakh to 16 lakh per annum. Percentage of students getting placements are about 90% My plan is to get into the IT sector as i have an interest to explore and enhance my technical skills

Placement Experience:

I applied to colleges like BMSIT and Sir MVIT, and I had confirmed seats there, too. I chose RNSIT because it has a better reputation for placements in my branch and the campus environment felt more welcoming. I didn't get into RVCE because my KCET rank wasn't high enough for their top branches, as the competition was very tough that year. The admission process is simple. They mainly take students through KCET and COMEDK. You need at least 45% in your 12th boards (PCM). Most students prefer KCET because the fees are lower. Once the seat is allotted through counseling, you just visit the campus, submit your documents, and pay the fees. The whole process was quite smooth and well-organized."

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.

MIT Bengaluru-The College Beyond Exxpectations

Placement Experience:

Students here are eligible for placements or internships right after the 3rd year. Mit Bengaluru is planning to make its students placement merging with its parent clg Mit Manipal. Currently none of the placement record is there as the first batch is in 3rd year only.None of the companies have visited for placement b ut companies like IBM, TCS do come for their talks. I have no plans as of now what will I do after a degree.

An amazing college experience that shaped my future

I applied to several college including R V college of engineering N.I.E college of engineering and Dayanand sagar college of engineering.I received confirmed admission offers from Dayanand college of engineering in the first KCET round but I chose my college that is BIT because of its excellent academic environment and placements opportunity.I applied to this college had a more student freindly atmosphere better industry connection more extra curiculum activities and no ragging in the campus.I did't get RV college because cutoff for my desereved branch was quite high and entrance exam score is below their requirements.The admission process for my college was quit straigth forward.Admission process based on KCET or COMED-k.The process was transparent and well managed.After document verification and fee payment I recevied my official admission order.Overall experience is smooth and hassle free....Read More
