Likes

Geu means modern and therefore from exterior to interior everything is modern here.
Labs are number one quality as we have an entire tech building.
A football ground where students are trained under professional coaches.

Dislikes

Definitely it's our balance of academics and activities as both clashes often.

Course Curriculum Overview

GEU was known for tech and therefore if one has to study here then tech is the course. We have 4-5 differentiators in that and mine is core as it includes all. So lovely to be surrounded with some of the most prominent faculties and a course which is best to become skillful.

Class Size: 67Course Fees: INR 500000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Isro sent requirements to our university for 20 students and thereby many other PSU companies too. Private companies also take students from our college so internship game here is sorted as students mostly get to internships during breaks.

Placement Experience

GEU and placements are like the best of friends. Getting 10, 20 and 30 lakhs a year here is so easy as placements are that good here. All top tech companies come here and therefore we get placements with ease here.

Fees and Financial Aid

Graphic Era University which is a prominent university in Uttarakhand or rather the whole North India is like a lifeline for students who want quality placements. Hence, the fees is inch higher and therefore it is 5 lakhs a year but then there are various scholarships available and nearly half of students are eligible for at least 10% scholarships.

Campus Life

Grafest is our annual fest as it is Uttarakhands largest fest. Our campus is actually divided and it's not just one building or campus. The main campus and then the tunnels and then one nursing building and then parking on the other side of the road. So, it is a different thing here as analyzing infrastructure is not easy of GEU.

Admission

My school mates who passed a year before me suggested me this college as they already spent an year and saw in and out. My parents and i completely trust them and therefore I came here have the entrance attended the counselling and took admissions. All this happened in just one day itself as process is very fast here.

Faculty

Well faculties of our college are really really good as they don't hold back from punishing if we don't pay attention or are less attentive. Attendance they take very strictly and students who under perform gets severe cuts too. The other way round though for students who are serious they get too much love and attention from them too.

Night Life

We have a gym and cafeteria in our college and it is very college indeed. However, Clement Town with Chai Sutta Bar and a Dominos outlet has covered everything. The best part is that we have a 24/7 shop here and this is like the best we could imagine for ourselves.

"Overall, a satisfying college experience"

Placement Experience:

In our college students become elegible for placement after 5th and 6th sem . Preplacement drive such as aptitude test , coding session, group discussion may start from 4th sem . I'm not sure wether i take placement from my college or by myself but my goal after completing my degree is to take a repotative job as software engineer.

The feeling of being in IIT Roorkee

Placement Experience:

Placements are good as you all know its IIT. The avg package of all branches is still around 20 LPA . For CS its around 35-40 LPA. And for all other branches its greater than 15 LPA. Im a first year student so i have not seated in placement but there are so many companies that visit iit roorkee for placements, like google,microsoft, ibm, oracle, etc Highest package secured by a student this year is 1.5 crore. Nearly 95 percent of students get placed every year for sure. My plans after degree is to get placed and do my job.

Is it one of the best private college ?

Placement Experience:

Placements are really good here many companies comes at campus every year each year the number of companies increases and the highest package is about 32LPA and students are allowed from 7 semester to enroll in campus placement program 100% placement is assured if u are scoring more than 7.5 CGPA and having no backlogs at all my plans are to get degree and try to get the campus placement if possible

UIT college dehradun - BTECH course

Life around Campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.tech Cse course is good as I see that AI rises quickly in this generation which looks good for future. College must increase lab for more practical exercises in labs for better learning, Timings must ne atleast 2 to 3 hour's for better learning.

Overall good college according to fees

Placement Experience:

After completing second year means 4 th semester the students usually start to do the internship and usually the students from 5-6 semester become eligible for the campus placements , there are various companies that visited here like wipro, microsoft, hdfc , intallipat, etc . I don't know about the number of offers but the highest package offered here was 40 lakhs per annum.

I choose this college because it is a GFTIs college and here the curriculum is good and structured in a right direction . The curriculum prepares us very well about the real - world application based problems and it too good . IIT ROORKEE - A SCRUPULOUS REVIEW

Placement Experience:

Iit roorkee provide better Placement opportunities than any other college. It has it's placement and intership cell . Gold man Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, graviton and quantbox are the big recruiters which visit my college. Placement are good with average package of 1800000 per annum. If someone don't get on campus then cell helps in getting off campus placement. Enormous amd strong alumini network helps in getting off campus placement.
