Maitery college has a very positive vibrant atmosphere.The best thing about college is the clean green campus, consisting several gardens .
Various society such as nscc,dramtic ,drama help to develop the students in various aspect.
The well equipped infrastructure , libarary has great diverse book range .

Dislikes

The placement cell needs to improve in terms of providing better internship

The course curriculum of maiteryi college under delhi University is well designed.one of major reason I chose this course was the wide range of subject it offers .The curriculum is designed in such a way that it prepares students for future academic pressure.

The fee structure of maiteryi college is very affordable compared to private colleges .The yearly fees is 14,000.The fees may slightly vary every year and according to different courses .There are scholarship provided such as meri cum means scholarship,du central scholarship,fee concession for economically weaker students

Campus Life

Overall experience is amazing.you can get alot of exposure towards various society clubs you can be part of international society like encatus, national level society such as NSCC . Various sports facilities are also available in the college such as basketball,football .

Admission

I got admission into jmc before this and I decided to upgrade my college major reason behind it was a minority college.As most of seats were reserved in that college that somewhere disappointed me .So basically you need to give cuet ug for getting admission and depending on your course cut off varies . Specific of political science hons cut off was 710/800 .

Faculty

The faculty to students ratio in maiteryi college is quite good. Teacher are approachable and supportive towards students.they clear the doubts in the classes itself .The course structure is divided semester wise and well designed to provide both theoretical and practical.exams are conducted twice in a year other then that have several test assignments.

Night Life

Yeah ! Near college there are many cafes like cafe de flora is quite famous one various outlets you could try out .Yes it's totally safe even I night there are various beautiful garden like tulip garden rose garden look over the ambassy area .

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum is decided by delhi university, economics wing and is followed by all the colleges of du, although few topic are often irrevelent which teachers tend to skip. i do feel that curriculum is pretty old and they should introduce new topic which are more related to reak=l world and give us real life experience not just bookish knowledge which is irelevent. they should also ask for students input related to their curriculum, teachers sometimes tedn to just do book reading. internal exmas are taken frequently and difficulty is 3 out of 5

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a good course. I went for it mainly because I am preparing for UPSC CSE (pretty common around here). In that context the course is helpful, and also for those aiming to enter research, academia, museology, archaeology etc. However there are not many placement opportunities and for most it would be better to pursue masters later on. Teaching methods are inclusive, both english and hindi medium students can comfortably study. However both students and faculties have some complaints regarding the curriculum changes under NEP such as the sequence of courses in each sem.

Great college with good faculty and student crowd

Placement Experience:

Placements is for 3rd year students. Many good companies visit our campus like bajaj capital, oberoi group. Highest package is around 22 lakhs. We have a lot of internship and placement opportunities come in for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is rightly designed. Plus the teachers often suggest books that can be read from library regarding course topics. The library is very nice here. I used to study in the library for long hours. The exam notes and everything is available at the photocopy shop that's inside the college. Writing this review really made me miss the college more

Initially i took this course beacuse i filled it as a backup for coming into delhi university but now i can say that the course is very interesting and it is practically applicable in daily life. Tho the theory exams are quite difficult and subjects like advance mme where max students fail exist but then also it is doable and has market value

Academic Excellence and Dream Professors, Great Crowd

Placement Experience:

The college has a placement cell which comes up with lots and lots of internship and job offers throughout the year, you get multiple new job opportunities every week but the campus placement is not all that great, B Com courses have somewhat decent placements. the college doesn't push very much or try much to get students placed, you're on your own.

Generally, after BA no one is placed and even if we apply for a job we don't get a good package. So, students generally go for masters or some other courses through which they can get placements. Talking of college placement and internship cell we don't have very good facilities as very limited companies are there for recruiting students. Many students don't even get the internship. This is a major negative point of college.

Overall College life experience.

Along with Gargi college I chose some North campus colleges too because of high NIRF ranking . Due to high cut-off and belonging from a general category usually students are not able to crack north campus colleges. This is the main reason why competition is high and seats are less of we look at yearly registrations. You need to give CUET right after completing 12th standard in order to get into top ranked colleges. This college is not good enough for upgrading skill and knowledge.

I have applied many college such as IPU and other colleges of DU IPU have very costly and expensive fees structure where in DU have cheap. But DU addmission is based on CUET marks. In 1st and 2nd round i doesn't get bcom. And in 3rd round i got SSNC with bcom but college disappointe me very much.
