Course Curriculum Overview

4

In the first yr we have common cources with all the first yearites which is helpful in understanding which cource you liked in this college and what u want to do in the future. It is well structured for the future in the way that u have the required common knowledge on every basic thing And you also have cource specific knowledge too if u want to work in the core sector. The exams happen every 2.5 months which is decent and gives a lot of time to prepare for it. The difficulty is pretty high compared to other universities. But it is the right amount of difficulty to pose a challenge to the students studying here.

Internships Opportunities

4

Top recruiters like Microsoft, Google, Nvidia, Qualcomm, JP Morgan, and other MNCs. The average stipend is about 60,000 to 70,000 and the highest can go up to 1,25 000 which is pretty good for a 6-month internship, and for 11 months for dual degree students. Students can work on projects with professors which will be helpful for students to land internships and get jobs with a good package.

Placement Experience

4

The placement of our college is pretty good compared to other colleges due to the legacy and the college tag. Form the 7th semester they get elegible for campus placement. There are a lot of prestigious colleges comming here a few are Nvidia, qualcomm, Google, microsoft and other billion dollar companies. The highest package goes up to 1Cr and avarage is about 30Lakhs. Almost 70 to 80 percent get placed and others ppt for higher degree. My plans after getting the degree is to start a company.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year-wise fees I have to pay per year are approximately 6Lakhs and come up to 24Lakhs for a single degree and 30Lakhs for a dual degree. per semester it is about 2.25L for tution, 10K for hostel, 20k for mess and others are misc. The scollership is only for the highest scorrers on campus who get upto 75% scollership.and for Board toppers.

Campus Life

5

The campus life is amazing evrything here is run by students so it is fun to take part in organising the event and to get to know what all happenes during fests and other events The main fests are pearl, arena and Atmos there are other fests are sanskriti launchpad and fervor We have access ato a lot of books thanks to our huge library will all that u will need for anything course related or of self interest. All classrooms are equipped with projects and chalk boards the lecture halls are also equipped with impetus which enables to rewatch any lecture. All sports teams are there in our college including frisbee and hockey team which points out the amount of sport involment in our college. All clubs, departments and social groups are run by students in our campus which creates a very positive impact on every students life and pushes them to go further in what they are doing.

Hostel Facilities

4

The facilities provided are a cot a table and a chair. there are 2 tube lights, 1 night light, and a fan. the rooms are pretty spacious and also a good hangout spot The meals are better than at other colleges in my opinion but this varies from person to person. the registration process is not very complicated as every student here has to stay on campus i.e there ate no day schoolers system in bits and it is pretty affordable as the fees is just 10,000 per semester.

Admission

This college gives you the right amount of freedom, which helps in students to go out of the box and do something different than others. I applied to iist and got a confirmed addmission but i rejected it due to no scope for aerospace engineering at this moment and the attendance policy which i resent. I got rejected by iiit hyderabad i didn't make it there because I didn't clear cutoffs by 0.25 so I didn't make it. The admission process is the most peaceful u just have to come here and submit ur documents then they will verify it and then u will be alloted everything that need to be.

Faculty

4

The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:50, and the relationship is pretty good if you are willing to approach them. There are approximately 3 to 4 Exams per semester, and they are pretty competitive, as a lot of smart and studious students study here. About 10 to 30 students fail to clear the course. The course curriculum is very relevant to what we will need on the future.

Night Life

5

The nightlife is one of the highlight of this campus we do not have any intime of sorts and a lot of outlets are open untill 2am and some untill 5am which is very helpful for all the all nighters before exam. The gym and library are open only for a limited period but the library is open all night during exam season, all the eateries and cafeteria are open until 2 am. hostels in this campus do not have any in time but the campus in time is 10:30 but we can enter campus late but we usually do not get to go outside for 5 days if it happens. most famous hangout spots are the bleachers the common areas and near the eateries. inside campus it is safe to roam at night but outside it is very isolated for about 5 km so it is a little riskey to go out after 10pm.

Other Applied Colleges

Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology - [IIST] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Aerospace Engineering)

There was close to zero college life and very low placements.

From 4th year 1st semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. About 10-15 companies visited our college with minimum 3 lpa. And only 30% of students are placed in the campus placement. Companies like virtuza, movate, cognizant, hcl visited our campus for placement. The highest package was 4.5 lpa and lowest was 2.8 . My plans after getting degree is work in a reputed mnc.
