Course Curriculum Overview

4

According to me, our curriculum is very comprehensive and very par to the level of MBBS, but what I feel is that we go through many exams which make us difficult to study because we have to study just for the exam to pass not to gain knowledge. Moreover, there is warli examination after every clinical costing, which is a sort of good thing for us, so that we study thoroughly through out the posting.

Internships Opportunities

5

There is compulsory one year, clinical rotations or internship after fourth year of our MBBS, which is compulsory for everyone to get an MBBS degree, so it's not a great task for us to get internship after our course completion

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees per year = 75000 University fees = 10000 Student activity fees = 1000 Total fees paid per year is 94000 Various Scholarships are provided for exam merit cum means Scholarship , scholarships for ews scst and obc students is provided by government

Campus Life

5

My college is built in area of 29.4 acres, which is very small as compare to other medical colleges located in Delhi. We don't have any play contrary to that. We have a lot of societies like society drama society which are very much active as compare to other colleges and we win almost every competition in inter colleges fest. All the clubs are student oriented and run by students. There is a very huge library in the college campus, but the only drawback is, it is opened from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Admission

I gave meet in 2021 in which has scored 620, which were enough to get me AIIMS other than the Delhi, but I chose Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar medical College because it is located in Delhi and we have better clinical exposure as compare to other colleges outside from Delhi But I couldn't get top colleges like the vmmc because of my marks so I am justified, satisfied with my college

Faculty

4

The faculty to students ratio is variable from department to department but it is overall good for example in pediatric we have 17 professors and Aps. I really like this professor named Dr Neeraj who is very good at teaching. There is no such faculty that I don't like. so throughout the year, we have around 3 to 4 exams, which are two hour terminal exams. One is pre-prof and one is perfect exams. All exams easy to pass with discipline. The thing I don't like about our colleges that they detain us for invalid reasons like short of attendance and internals as compare to other colleges of Delhi, but only few of them fail in the exam around five students failed in my batch in previous session.

Night Life

5

There are two cafeterias in a college campus, won the gym in boys hostel. Hostel and campus timings are flexible, which are 24 hours accessible. for hangouts, we go to mall like , unity one, city Centre , M2K . The locality around our college is favourable for girls, but we avoid to go outside after 12 because it's not that safe around us. Our college is located in the heart of India, Delhi, we have access to every corner of Delhi by the Delhi Metro

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very well structured and includes detailed study of all the aspects of medicine which is very relevant in today's world. Since mbbs curriculum is more about practical and less about theory we get a really good patient exposure which makes us ready to deal with patient problems in real life. The course curriculum can be made a little less hectic as in fourth year there are 11 subjects to cover so they can be distributed equally in all the other years and teaching methods can be made more interactive instead of professors just reading the slides monotonously

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum of mbbs is very comprehensive and makes you capable of handling medical emergencies, and not miss out on diagnosing critical cases. With the new CBME curriculum by nmc in place, additional focus is also given on the AETCOM (attitude, ethics and communication) module which is aimed at improving the quality of healthcare professionals produced by this country.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is decided by the NMC therefore it is same for all of the doctors. Our college has a good clinical exposure and thus we learn a lot. The course prepares you well, but you always have to learn by yourself. In the area of clinical expertise the treatment of common disease must be taught separately. We have exams Nearly every 3 months, which can be tough to manage, considering that you have to score an average of more than 50% in them . Difficulty level is intermediate
