My college review

I am in electronics and communication engineering department And it is considered as the best and well developed department of nsut We have multiple labs and the most expensive equipments are present thier to boost students experience and their skills in the core branch I choose this because it is evergreen branch as said by all we can go placed in tech companies as well as no tech core companies Curriculum here is good I like that not very hard and not very easy We have 6 subject in semester 1 they are 1. Maths -1 2. Oscillation waves and optics 3. Computer programming - python 4. Basics of electrical engineering 5. Engineering drawing 6. Sports - extra subject In semester 2 we got 1. Maths -2 2. Electronic device and circuits 3. Network analysis and circuits 4. Data structure and algorithms 5. English 6. Chemistry As you can in first semester all subjects are common for all branches But in semester 2 their branch related subjects also come like in mine ! They should improve in exams timings like they are not fixed they prepone and post pone exams as their ease!! At least give us sometime we have lots of other work to do to increase our skill level other then college exams There are 2 exams in one semester Mid sem and endsem And 2 class tests are there one before midsem and one before endsems

There are many companies who approaches students giving intership opportunities Few of them are below 1. Google 2. Amazon 3. Qualcomm 4. Cisco 5. Texas instruments 6. MTNL 7. Bharat petroleum corporation limited 8. Engineers india limited 9. Airport india limited I don't remember the data about how many opportunities they come with but I got you the names of the companies which comes with proper stipend And last year student cracked Gsoc also and got 2.5 k of stipend

Placement stats in our college is way better as compared to other colleges Companies like Google amazon meta zomato microsoft jp morgan texas instruments nvidia samsung tcs and all other tech and non tech companies Students of 4th year are applicable for campus placement And students of 3rd year or 4th year are applicable for campus internships As far as I know 31 internship offers were made for 3rd year students And 977 placement offers were there for 4th year students And for pg graduates there are stats other than this Highest package of our college is 1.2 crores it was from east campus In recession the percentage of students getting placed was affected adversely Only 40-55% students got placed last year And avg package was from 10-17lpa(median package) My plans after degree is to grab a good placement and gain some experience as fast as I can!! ... work hard and achieve my goals they I want to

In first year our fees is 2.3 lacs But as we go in higher years it increases by 20k every year So it is like 2.3 lacs in first year 2.5 lacs in second year 2.7 lacs in 3rd year 2.9 lacs in 4th year The fees distribution is like Tution fee : 77k University fee : 96.85k Other fee : 65.15k Fees for all the categories even if it is Obv sc st are same like general but you can avail category scholarships if you want I didn't applied for it cuz everyone says it is hard to claim that and not confirmed!! Fees for all other branches are also same as mine I am from ece branch There are two scholarships CVSPK - chattra vittiya sahayata evam protsahan kosh It is given on the basis of academic achievements like in jee or in inside college achievements NSP scholarship is also provided And merit cum means These two are provided in the basis of reservation categories In these scholarships only tution fee will be returned not the whole fee !!

Over all campus experience is 8/10 it's a tier 1 university... There is a very famous fest of our college named moksha it's a 3 day event in which many artists comedian and alumni comes ... Almost 1 lakh people joins the fest in a total of 3 days and it's grand fest typically it's held in March but this year 2025 got postponed in april Classroom facilities are way better ... All rooms are AC centralised and smart boards are there to enhance students learning experience There is a proper sports complex in our college in which you can any sports you want like bad minton basketball cricket football lawn tennis table tennis snooker carrom chesss and any game you can imagine and proper equipments are also present for them There are 100s of societies clubs in our college which are mostly run by seniors and we join them learn alot from them get experience and skills Some of the clubs are crescendo nakshatra kalpna etc .. It makes a very good learning impact on us enhances are vocal skills and boosts are confidence

I got 93.6 percentile in jee mains and I am form obc category so I got into this college I applied to ggsipu university I got csds branch in their mains campus (USICT) and also I got ece in nsut in round 2 then I compared both of them Nsut(avg package 18 lpa )has way better placement stats than USICT ( avg package 11 lpa) and nsut have more recruiter than most of the colleges and the internship opportunities they provide are also at the best Admission process in my college is on the basis of jee mains rank It's is a state university so it have a counselling called jac counselling in which other 5 colleges are also there And also remember it is a tier 1 university!! Cutoff for general are high as we all know Like 5k for cse ai 15k for cse 28k for ece And for obc it is 55k for cse 1.05lacs for ece and for sc st it is very very low And we have seats for impaired students too Which can be availed at very low ranks

As I said faculty experience was avg some faculty are good and some are not . In sem 1 we had 6 faculties and 3 of them are good and rest are bad I like maths Proff her name was shiksha The physics teacher was rude and arrogant her name was manju ma'am she always threatens us about our attendance In sem 2 all the teachers are the best and they gained lot of experience not only in their studies but also in how to teach students so that they will understand the topic properly We have 2 main examinations Mid sem which is of 20 marks and 1.5 hrs It's syllabus is 2 units from the subject Endsem is of 50 marks and 3 hrs It's syllabus is all the 5 units of the subject And rest 30 marks are internal which are provided by teachers on the basis of class tests labs and assessment by them 2 class tests are there one before midsem and one before endsems!

Night life is very beautiful in nsut there are vintage lamps of yellow colors every where which looks so sick at night time and gives happy vibes Actually night stay adds memories to your college life and is one of the best hangout in you 4 years and if Iwill get a chance i would love to do that everyday !! ???? Gym and students activity centre are closed at night library also opens till 8 Pm only Hostellers are allowed outside of hostel till 8 Pm only after that you have to come back again But as you know they are so mischievous so they always finds a way to fool guards Hangout spots I will go to chill point it's just out side the campus North gate And most of the shops and cafes are on dwarka mod metro station so we go there mostly in breaks to chill and time paas
