Course Curriculum Overview

3

The subjects like ITC, COI influenced me as why they are in the curriculum they don't provide any skills for the engineering students. Students also studies these subjects in one day and give exam and they forget these subjects add no importance in the curriculum. There are subjects like acquiring buisness communication which helps us to improve our conversation skills confidence that is helpful in the future while interviews. The improvement in the subjects which is not useful for engineering and to increase more things which helps us in coding make us skill good. The frequency and timings of exams are quite tough there are consecutive classes along sessional exams student always stressed and the attendance is also higher so the student can't also take leave for his own mentality stability and to relax . The difficulty is quite high .

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for the first year is about ?1,79,100, which includes tuition, exam fees, registration, and other charges. In the next year's the fee goes down to around ?1,55,000 per year. Students from SC/ST categories can get scholarships between ?50,000 to ?95,000. There are also government scholarships for UP students and a fee waiver for those in the Fee Waiver Category. Female students with good marks may get up to ?1,00,000 off in their fees.

Campus Life

3

There are not many fests but I have attended a jagmag fest which comes around in November month. There are quite a lot books in the library students can easily assess these books by ther ID card . The classes have fans as usual and the class is also average size the desk is of wooden and there is a smart board in which teacher takes classes .There is no sports and extra curricular activities offered in first campus I didn't no about the second year campus. In first year there is no student - run social groups, clubs or student portal so there is no impact of these

Admission

I didn't applied online because I got less grades so I go for direct admission I want the course btech cse I have gone to galgotia college in which I was getting ECE but didn't wanted it then I go to GNIOT in which I was getting my preferred course and also goes to NIET and got the preferred course. So I choose NIET over GNIOT as it is better in package and studying and it is also a Autonomous college. I got rejected from galgotia and GLbajaj because of less grades in 12th class they want 85-90% for btech CSE. in my college there are two ways like direct and through counselling I didn't know about the counselling because I didn't applied for it I have taken directly admission and the criteria for direct is to have 80+ % in 12th for main CSE, CSE with AI ,and for other CSE specialization it varies and it is around 70+%.

Faculty

3

The faculty to student ratio is around 60-65 student per faculty I guess.the relationship between faculty and students are good they look into students performance. They are easily approachable. I liked my first sem Design thinking teacher he is a chill guy he don't gives us pressure and teaches in a friendly manner which makes it interesting. The teacher I didn't like is our second sem ITC teacher he comes in class and start speaking doesn't tell us what to write all the student are bored in his class and can't even understand the topics he is telling. Talking about the exams there are three sessional in a sem which comes fast they does complete syllabus faster and exams also there is around 15 days gap in between sessionals the sessional end in two days first day two subjects paper second day two subjects paper. They also conduct semester exams faster. I didn't know about how many students fail but the students with less attendence is detained from the exam. The course curriculum is relevant to the Subjects.

Night Life

1

There is no Night life in my college as I am a day scholar student so I can't no about the night life till now .The college timings is 9:40am to 4:20pm. There is no famous place to hangout in college as the campus is very small and I didn't travelled outside college as I am a day scholar only hosteler can give feedback on these

Course Curriculum Overview:

Jims is a ipu college, so yeah curriculum depends entirely on ipu University. First year is similar for all btech courses. Or is easy to earn marks in lab and soft skill subjects but maths or physics is hard. Your 12th basics should be very good, else these two subjects will affect your overall SGPA badly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course structure is good of btech but there there is only thing I don't like is that in btech course the subjects in first year are not related to career of students because there is physics, chemistry other irrelevant subjects present in first year but in second year the course become interesting and relevant. Curriculum is good and prepare well for real world applications. The exams comes frequently every month there is a class test but class tests are moderate on the basis of there difficulty level.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements in the final year. The college offers basic placement training and assistance. Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly speaking I don't like the curriculum of my college. Everything is same which people studied 20 years ago . Only few things has been changed and I don't understand why we need to study about things which don't have any existence in reality. They should focus on current tech and provide more learning opportunities in AI.

Course Curriculum Overview:

course curriculum is little bit out-dated, and improvements are needed in terms of syllabus. timing of exams are ok ok. so many assignments are given which is really hectic because their are deadlines to upload those assignments in google classroom. and one thing i hate about college is 75% attendence is must. due to this we do not get much time for our personal development.
