Very poor professors including the head of departments
Very less focus on applied studies. More focus on theory studies
Difficult to maintain good SPI as professors do not give deserving marks

Course Curriculum Overview

No focus on practical applications. The college does not provide coding environment. It's the students who are trying to maintain it. College always pushes to give assignment which are irrelevant to many extents.

Class Size: 116Course Fees: INR 14000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are not so good not so bad. Given a strength of 116, only 14-18 people are able to secure internships. College does not provide any kind of internship or unpaid internship. It is upto students only to apply and get internships by themselves

Placement Experience

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Renowned companies such as Google, flipkart, Amazon, samsung etc hire during placement season. Highest package is offered by Google that is 50LPA. Average package is around 16-18LPA for computer science.

Fees and Financial Aid

I belong from reserved category so my semester fee is very less. It ranges from 5k-7k per semester. General category students, fee is approximately 60-80k per semester. One scholarship. Hostel charges are not included. Hostel charges per year is 60k, regardless of your category.

Campus Life

There are many clubs and committees and many fest are going on throughout the year. 1. Technocracy: which is the official technical fest of NITRR 2. Samar: central India's largest sports event. 3. Eclecticka: Central India's largest cultural even.

Admission

Given my JEE mains rank, the best branch for me was computer science and engineering and I was getting this branch only in NIT Raipur. So I did not apply anywhere else because I was adamant on the choice of branch. Selection in my collefe is done on the basis of JEE mains rank and process is maintained by JOSAA counselling.

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is good 1:50 but the relationship between students and faculty is not good. Faculties are provided posts which they should not be given. There are 2 exams per semester. 1 mid semester and 1 end semester. Both exams includes all the subjects you enrolled for.

Night Life

College gym is not good, it is poorly maintained. Hostel is standard, there's no specific amenities provided which is different from any other typical hostel. The in-timings for boys is 10pm and for girls is 11pm. Famous hangout place is outside the college which is known as chowpati where you can get wide range of food options.

Ssipmt Raipur review my experience

Placement Experience:

Placements at SSIPMT Raipur are pretty good. Students become eligible from 6th semester for campus placements. Companies that visit: TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, etc. They mostly offer roles like software developer, support engineer, tester, etc. Highest Package: ?42 LPA (off-campus international placement) Average Package: Around ?6 LPA Placement Percentage: Almost 100% for CS/IT branches if the student is active and skilled. My Future Plan: After completing my degree, I’ll try to get placed through campus first, then maybe switch later for better opportunities or prepare for higher studies if needed.

Yes our college offers best placement with average package of 7 lakhs and highest package of 42 lakhs college is doing very well in placements and ask focus placement based studies the training and placement department is also very supportive and helpful

Shankaracharya raipur review

Remarks:

In Raipur, Chhattisgarh Shankaracharya is the best college according to their study events everything. Restrictions on students are more here but this is for his/her improvement. Attendance matters here your CT and TA marks are filled according to your attendance and behavior these are not good I thought. Otherwise, college is good.

My college phase was a very amazing and exciting phase of my life.

Placement Experience:

Our TPO department is a very active and efficient one. From computer science, we recorded 95% placement this year and 60% overall placement. Our college, in fact, has the distinction of hosting more than 100 companies, where the other top college of the university could go as far as only 5 companies. Top brands like Amazon, Kony Labs, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, Cape Gemini, Technovert, Radio Mirchi came to recruit. The average package was 4.5 LPA with Amazon taking one student for 15.5 LPA.

An Homestate Girl in NIT Raipur

Honestly As A Girl , My Parents did'nt Allowed me to Leave my state . Which is very disappointment for me but it is okay They care about me ,so that nothing happen to me. I applied in jossa counselling and get this college via that counselling because of my jee mains rank i got this college very best whatever I can get so i didn't really apply for any college just got addmission into this college because of jossa counselling and jee mains and jee advanced. I want to join iits but my rank was not that good so i didn't get seat into college like iit Bombay, iit Delhi, iit Kharagpur etc. I get addmission iny college firstly you have to give jee mains exam and get ranks as follows 75000 for general studies to get addmission in my college via jossa counselling or csab counselling you got the seat then pay the seat acceptance fee and book the seat in college then go to physical reporting to that college....Read More

My Life At NIT Raipur

Cause This College Was An National Level College , NITs are Far Better Than Any Private College With CSE. I was about to going in IIIT una But Its fees was too High ,that i can't Afford. Admission process was little longer than I Expected. We went to college at 10Am And Came Back At 8PM. First We Have To Go To D4 Room For Collecting Id Card And Getting File for Document Arrangment . Then they will pass the file To D3 and ,We have to wait there. Then after our number comes we have to go to D1 for Payment Process And Applying For Hostels.
