Course Curriculum Overview
The aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the Computer Science and Engineering was the diverse exposure to the academic and real-world experience in the field of the same course.
Internships Opportunities
For the course of the Computer Science and Engineering, different types of roles have been offered which includes the Web development roles, Software Developer, Social Media Marketing roles, Tester roles and various other coding related roles in the companies. The stipend usually ranges from INR 10,000 to INR 25,000 on an average.
Placement Experience
The placements in the college is very good enough, usually students become eligible from 5th semester for the campus placements which provide them good and handful experience for them. Companies like JP Morgan, Samsung, Capgemini, Infosys and etc. are among the ones which have came to college in recent times.
Fees and Financial Aid
In Chitkara University, the annual fee structure for academics for the batch of 2021 is INR 82,000 per semester which includes all the Tution fees, caution fees, development fees and other complusory charges. Registeration fees was extra INR 10,000 at the time of admission.
Campus Life
The overall experience with campus life is good as there are evening classes here so the hostel in timings are late night till 12 am so you can hang around the campus and play sports till late night, involve in social and club activites according to your interests.
Hostel Facilities
The facilites provided in my single sharing room is good enough, I have one bed, one chair, one table, one fan, one cooler, one dustbin and one almirah and the room space is very spacious, I also have one attached washroom. The fees per semester for single sharing is INR 92,000. The meal quality is decent.
Admission
I chose this college over the other colleges because of the good placement activites in the campus as various companies come here annually with good package and mostly there are big MNCs which come to college.
Faculty
The faculty members for the course of Computer Science and Engineering is the most here, and most of them are good at supporting and clearing the doubts of the students which boosts their academic performance.
Night Life
The night life in campus is good enough as you can roam around in campus till 12 am and do whatever you want to, go and eat in the cafeteria, play any type of sport present in the college you want to, go for a walk around the campus and hang out with your friends.
