Wel maintained green campus, really very good infrastructure and its smart components.
Quality of education in the college is really appreciable.
Social and cultural preferences in parallel to studies

Dislikes

Varying working hours in the college is quite more here.
Its difficult to maintain 85% of compulsory attendance, which is really high comparing to any other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course I have choosen is Civil Engineering and the main aspects of choosing it is due to my own interest..If we consider the college things, the placement for this course is also great, the faculties try to prepare the students compitively for the better future as Engineers..

Placement Experience

The placement cell works really hard to bring more cream level companies to the college. Every year about 40 to 50% of students gets placed in good companies based on thier skills...The companies such as Shobha Developers, LNT have conducted enourmous interviews in past 2 decades in our college and also have taken alot of students to them from here..

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for government seats is ?1,20,000 per year and it doesn't change, i.e, its same for all the years. The fee structure for management seats starts from ?3,50,000 per year + a college donation of 4 to 16 lakth, which is all non reffundable...

Campus Life

The college conducts Kannada Rajyothsava in the name of SPANDANA for 5 days in November..The whole function is mainly maintained by the students conducting alot of compititions and cultural events...Ethnic day called PARVA is also celebrated in November with passion...In Even SEMs, Halcyon, the main college fest is conducted grandly inviting enourmous celebrities and culturists..And also, branch wise fests are celebrated in our college in even sem only..

Admission

The college has really greate greenery spread over 55 acres of land, comparing to any other colleges. The college also has about 40 clubs which includes both Technical and cultural clubs working day and night to bring new things with thier talents, thus, in addition to goodvquality of education, the journey in the college life goes with passion!

Faculty

The teaching faculties are all PHD holders and hence the way ofbteaching is really in depth. Faculties are really very flexible with the students, they try to understand the students perspective and I have seen them working hard to make students understand the concepts irrespective of thier time limits. There are 2 internals and 1 Sem end exams...40% of minimum marks is compulsory to get the eligibility in our college. If I hace to talk about the diffeculty level of exams, its comparitively moderate but still, it depends on the paper setter.

Night Life

The canteen facilities, gym facilities and stadiums and grounds really appreciate the students to hangover after the classes...The college also has hostel facilities seperatly for girls and boys...Aminity buildings are also provided seperatly...As the college is located in the middle of the city, the locality is complety safe here.

Because sirikulam in terms of Reliance and comprehensive or not really good time period is very less so far academy here and we can't have time to study well and are many and I didn't expect this before college joining

My College Story

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

My Experience at College

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement from the 7th semester. However the training and pre placement started for student from the first year itself like aptitude training coding resume workshops. The top companies like TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Capgemini IBM tech Mahindra mind tree. The average is 8lpa. The highest 54 LPA. Overall 80% of students get placed in the final year. My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

A complete discipline with education

Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided

- Talking about me choosing this college over other colleges is because Siddaganga Institute of Technology comes in the top 10 colleges in the entire Karnataka and also has an NIRF ranking below 100. - I had applied various other colleges in Bangalore, but my ranking from KCET was 10,072 which was too high as per the cutoff put by those colleges so I couldn't get colleges in Bangalore and I landed in here. - I didn't get any rejections from other colleges as I had a good ranking in KCET exam along with an aggregate of 93.3% in my 12th. It was just the cutoff of the colleges that made me land in this college and I don't regret being here as I am happy that I am in one of the best colleges in Karnataka. - The admission procedure is simple. If you are coming through KCET or ComedK, then the seats will be alloted by the respective board and these students just come with the required or mentioned documents and just come and do admission in here. If the student is coming through Management seat then he has a different procedure. - There is no particular eligibilty criteria for admission in here, just one thing matter is the students rank which must be below the cutoff mentioned by the college. - The exam most preferred by the students is KCET, whose cutoff varies as per the branch they want admission for....Read More

I had got selected to this college based on my KCET EXAM rankings and i had given this college as my preority at 4th place and got it. i was so happy about getting this college and there was no other second thought and joined here.
