Remarks

The college is located in a good area which is easily accessible from many areas around the city. The car parking for students is not very close to the college which is a negative point making it hard for the students to reach the college from the parking on time but in the case of two wheelers there's alot of parking for students in campus as well.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is well updated and upto the mark. It follows the latest engineering portion which is updated every year by the HOD'S. The curriculum is best suited to prepare the students for the outside world and for them to actually understand what they're doing. The exams happen twice a year at the end of each semester. Unit tests are conducted every two months to make sure students study what's being taught everyday

Placement Experience

5

The placements are very good in this college. It has received a very good review from the NAAC for their placements in the recent years. Job opportunities are good if the student has crossed the minimum criteria such as the attendance and also qualifying every exam in both the semesters. I'm still in the first year so I cannot share my personal experience but I have my cousins who have graduated from here and have had a wonderful 4 years in this campus.

College Events

4.5

All events are celebrated with Bliss in this college. Specially the college hosts it's personal events which are like the cultural day and technology related events where students can participate and show off their skills in the world of technology. We have not had any events as of now but according to what I have heard and seen on the college walls and websites, the students enjoy to their best during such events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is nothing more or less than any other engineering institute in India. So we can say it's quite feasible. But if student joins through a quota like management or NRI then the fees gets doubled automatically which then gets on the higher side. But for it being a engineering institute it is quite affordable for what it gives in return

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not availed any scholarship or loan facility so I'm not aware but I'm sure they must be providing with any of such for the students who need it and deserve it. The students can speak to the admission department regarding such things in advance before taking admission to make sure they get the facility to make it easier for them.

Campus Life

4

The extracurricular activities are very good as there's outdoor sports ground and as well as indoor sports such as table tennis. Students can play during their free time and during sports lecture. The college has a team for every sport as well for which students are selected every year. The labs are very well maintained and equipped with the standard needs.

Alumni/Alumna

I have not met any alumni students except my cousins which have graduated from here and through whom I have also decided to join the same college. The seniors of the college are nice and helpful in every case. They manage the freshers and everything for the first year students and help them meet their faculty as well.

Admission

Apply for entrance exams like JEE and MHT CET and get the minimum eligibility marks to quality to join the college once the marks you achieved cross the minimum criteria. Other ways of admission include the management quota, NRI quota etc.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty of the college is very nice and they have years of experience in their field. Every department has its head of department teacher who manages the syllabus and other things for that particular department. The director of the college gives a speech on the first day addressing the students as well as the parents of each department seperately in order to give them information related to their particular courses.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
