Course Curriculum Overview

3

I chose this course because ever since I was a kid I was interested in computer and how it works and all As I grew up my interest increased way more and I chose this course- bsc.it the curriculum provided a solid. Foundation in it concepts like programming, networking and software development but it needs more experience and teaching methods so that it can be improved by co-op rating internship, project interactive coding camps etc Exam system has a semester pattern with internal, external and practical exam in my course but the work can feel overwhelming at time

Internships Opportunities

4

Kes has internship and live peojects that allows stude6to apply theoretical knowledge in real time my college holds ties with thecompanies like TCS , MAHINDRA , TATA MOTORS SOME BANKS and many moretjese internship provide valuable practical increase in the industry resiness and contribute to professional development

Placement Experience

4

At kes college the students are starts getting placements mostly at the last year with the companies like TCS, tata motor, l&t, and motilal oswal, mahindra etc. the package is around 3-4 LPA and after completing my degree I would apply for a career in IT industry and hone my skill alongs with it.

Fees and Financial Aid

1. So the yearly fees that I paid for my course in first year was 46,000 and I'm currently in 2nd year I paid 42,000 so the fees is less as compared to first year. 2. Well regarding scholarship kes college do provide many scholarship but there are some terms and conditions to it like you should have scored at XYZ percentage in hsc, ssc, or either there would be an entrance exam like things I don't know that much abhout scholarship.

Campus Life

5

Kes provide annual festival like antarang and chakravayuha and many more which I didn't remember which helps students gets more social and learn many skills like management, organizing, planning etc and the library facilities are good it provides both online and offline service for the re-issue a book can do it online from home only along with wifi and air conditioners classroom . My college regarding to sports is very supportive with such a big turf we have sonwe don't compromise when it come to sports we teach - football, cricket, boxing, kabaddi and many more and may students have their own group for managing events for students for a vibrant life with academic, cultural and leadership opportunities

Admission

So first I chose kes college for its well structural bscit program very good experience teachers and studen friendly environment as compared to other colleges I chose this because of its affordability and the facilities i get and its near me house so thats it. And last but not the least the addmission process is quite simple first fill an online application then a merit list will be released after getting selected you will go through some documents verification then pay the fees all at once or you can pay it in 2 installment

Faculty

4

The teachers at KES Shroff College of Commerce and Arts are friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to help, making learning engaging and easy to understand. The course structure is well-planned, combining theory and practical knowledge, with core subjects, electives, and skill-based courses that help students grow in different areas. Exams follow a semester system with internal tests, projects, and written papers, and marks are given based on assignments, attendance, and final exams, ensuring a fair evaluation. While the faculty is supportive and the courses are well-structured, sometimes the workload can feel overwhelming during exams, and there could be more opportunities for industry exposure and internships to give students practical experience.

Night Life

4

My favourite hangout spots would be the turf grounds because it available at night for outsider where you can bring your friends and family to play some sports but it has charges around 500- 1000 per hours for turf grounds. The timing are Around 7 :00 am in the morning to 7pm in the evening. The local area is quite safe near my college and if you wanna eat something then go near the station and enjoy fast foods

Course Curriculum Overview:

Biotechnology curriculum is quite relevant and comprehensive. It balances core subjects like molecular biology, genetics, and bioinformatics with hands-on lab sessions, which influenced my decision to choose this course..... The curriculum prepares students well for both real world applications and further studies, though I feel it could be enhanced with more industry llinked projects or internships. Exams are well spaced and moderately challenging, helping reinforce the material without being overly difficult. However, adding advanced electives and more industry focused workshops could make the program even stronger and more aligned with current biotech trends.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the colleges are good for all the courses. For my course physics we havent had a batch that has passed out yet so i do not know much about the placements. Most students from undergraduate physics pursue higher studies first and then look for jobs. Masters in physics has placements in industry as well as research fields. The average package for the masters students are 5 to 6 lakhs per annum. I will be pursuing my masters abroad first and then will think of a job
