YCMOU follows the Odd and Even semester pattern for its various UG and PG courses. The university conducts examinations for even semesters, usually in the month of May–June and for odd semesters in November–December. This is the only EASA approved college in Mumbai and one of the cheapest for this course so anyways I had no other option. If not this then I could have tried for to become a commercial pilot in India or outside

I chose Thakur Institute of Aviation and Technology because it stood out on several parameters compared to other colleges for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME). Thakur Institute provides practical experience in a dedicated hangar with live aircraft, which is a unique feature. Other colleges may lack such exclusive and comprehensive hands-on training opportunities. The faculty here is approachable and well-organized, ensuring students receive timely help and guidance. In contrast, some other colleges may have a higher student-to-faculty ratio, leading to less personalized attention. The two-year course structure, followed by On-Job Training (OGT) and Aircraft Engineering Training (AET), ensures early exposure to real-world scenarios If I couldn't secure admission in other colleges, it was likely due to limited seats or higher cutoffs. However, Thakur Institute's emphasis on real-world training and a student-friendly environment made it my top choice. The overall process and focus of the institute align perfectly with my career goals in aviation maintenance.

I didn't get rejected by SM college I changed my decesion of addmission to YCMOU UNIVERSITY under THAKUR SHYAMNARAYAN DEGREE COLLEGE 3. IN my college you have to pay first 10k rupees to confirm your seat and then you have to give CET entrance EXAM conducted by YCMOU and there is a passing Marks if your corss the passing marks (40) then you are eligible for addmission in the college
