Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU) offers various courses at UG, PG & Research level courses in various disciplines. Admission to the same is done on the basis of merit list, however, for some courses, the university conducts its own entrance exam. The university provides UG admissions to candidates on the basis of their qualifying marks at the intermediate level. Once the merit list is displayed, candidates can collect the study material from their allotted study center.
YCMOU PG admission for M.A, M.Sc, M.Com, and M.Li.Sc courses are offered on the basis of merit in the last qualifying examination. The university conducts the Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission in MBA & MPH courses. To be eligible for the same the candidate must possess a Master's degree with at least 55% aggregate marks. Apart from the UG and PG courses, the university also offers 35 Certificate and 29 preliminary Diploma programs in various disciplines. Students can fill the application form online. Final seats will be confirmed only after submission of the fee receipt at the respective study or regional center.

The university offers various PG programmes such as, M.Sc, MPH, M.Lib.Sc, MA, MBA, and M.Com and those candidates with the relevant qualifying Bachelor's degree can register for the courses.

For MBA admission, selection will be on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the Entrance Exam conducted by the University (YCMOU CET) or scores obtained in CAT/MAT.
YCMOU offers PhD courses in seven specialisations. Candidates who have passed a Master's degree with 55% marks in aggregate in relevant fields, are eligible to apply for this course.
Selection criteria is based on the merit obtained in PET entrance test or if the candidates have qualified UGC-NET (including UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF /SLET/GATE/teacher fellowship holder or have awarded M.Phil in concerned subject are exempted from PET.

To be eligible for a PhD course in YCMOU, candidates must have passed a Master's degree with 55% marks in aggregate in relevant fields from a recognized university (A relaxation of 5% of marks for reservation categories).
To be selected for a PhD course in YCMOU, candidates must have obtained a valid score in PET or candidates need to pass UGC-NET (including UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF /SLET/GATE /teacher fellowship holder or have awarded M.Phil in the concerned subject.
YCMOU also offers one-year and two-year PG Diploma and Diploma courses in various specializations. Admission is purely merit-based. 10th and 12th qualified candidates are eligible to apply for the Diploma courses.

I applied in Bombay flying club but I got to know that the Thakur institute of aviation technology is much more better than any other colleges in Mumbai. For getting the admission in Thakur College the eligibility is you have to score more than 50% in your 12th board exam with PCM as your subject.

The first thing I choose this college over the other is that this college is nearby from the place where I live The fees of this college is affordable from the other colleges basically. My senior friends from the school recommended me as they were pursuing the degree from this college.

My first preference was YCMU and luckily I got accepted in it so there wasn't any need to apply for another colleges. The admission process is quite simple for any course in our college. The regular eligibility criteria for admission is 12th pass student with minimum 45%.

After the 12th u can get admission to ba cutoff is not that high for ba in GS College khamgaaon of yaswantrao chavan mukta vidhyapeeth and after this 3year course of ba u can have masters after that

I choosed this collage because B1.3 helicopter (turbine engine) .collage offering this course is very less in India and the reputation of this collage made me to select this collage. The admission process is very easy and convenient there is no cutoff required you can come after diploma in mechanical or 12th PCM

Admission process is totally online the cut off is not high you can get Admission on passing marks of hsc board examination no entrance exam is there for this course in this university also you don't need to give your original documents to the university which very nice thing

There are limited seats available for the admission. University thinks students should be less but education should be higher than the cost. Admissions are 2 ways offline and online. Offline admissions are better because the admission staff gives the full details of their course and their experience. Their is semester pattern for exams which is better than yearly pattern

Admission process for me was easy. But had to hurry and pay rs 50000 to book my seat. There are very limited seats in both the mechanical and avionics stream. I ha given an online Google form test while taking admission
