What Students Say

Likes

The faculties are very nice and loving overall teaching is really great
Their are a lot of events happening which is really enjoyable
The campus is really vast and their is a lot to explore

Dislikes

Hostel is not provided for all students the allotment id based kn distance
Some rules are kept a too strict and takes the enjoyment out of a lot
Thr collage undergoes a kot of strikes on which classes are called off

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is really updated we have we as students who got admission in 2024 follow the 2023 scheme which is really updated as compared to the previous scheme which was the 2019 scheme the syllabus keeps getting updated which is really nice as it helps us to learn new things

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

One of the best insitutes in Kerala. They are rank 1 in all kerala universities. The fees are affordable for state merit. All india merit its not that much affordable. Good placements in Safety and fire engineering

Campus Life

Every month will be programs and annual day are done in first months. Books are provided in the library so we can accessory very easily also the facilities in labs are very high standards and new technology and help us to do the rabbit experiments very easily

Admission

I took Cusat iver VIT because, vit is not a government college. Its a private institution. Also in VIT the fees is very high compared to CUSAT. This is why u prefer cusat over vit. Cusat is much more reliable than VIT

Faculty

Some factul is really nice but the overall faculty experience is not so great there are a lot of permanent factory please and but in some department faculty the student ratio is very low especially in the fire and safety department the number of permanent faculties are really low parent safety being the highest package course in the college and coming to my course which is Electronic Communication department there are lot of permanent faculties.

Night Life

Library 10:00 p.m. and the gym is only till 5:00 p.m. libraries one is in School of Engineering Library and University library work still 7:00 p.m. and the other library only work still 6:00 p.m. University hostels are only 11 p.m. and other private hostels you can be at any time you

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are good, can be better. This year the average is 15L and median is 12L and highest is 50L for ece, the percentage of placed students in ece is also greater than 80%.In the 3rd year students are taken for interships and those may convert to placements and for 4th year students placements will start from the start of their 4th year itself.For ece meesho, dell, texax instuments and many other companies came, meesho paid the highest salary in ece.My plan is to secure a good job in core company.

Nit Calicut - Good Side and Worse Side

Placement Experience:

we get placements mostly in the post 6th sem or in 7th sem. Some major companies like texas instruments offer good packages here. others include meesho, goldmans sachs, dell, bpl. Highest package is around 50lakh for ece students and around 70 lakh for cse. more than 80 percent get placed from cse and ece but is only around 20 percent in branches like production engineering, engineering physics. less core companies than it ones

All u need to know about Cochin university

I have not applied for any other colleges in kerala as i consider Cochin univeristy a bit efficient than KTU also the location is a prime factor, as companies rely on location, airport is close to my campus, the railway station as well, transportaion is easy here .
