Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is almost perfect with proper exams conducted throughout the semester to test the knowledge of students and rectify their mistakes. But few courses are outdated in 1st year which creates a negative impact on academics.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Annual college expenses go around 3 lakh rupees per annum which is ok with the type of college. The scholarship ranges from 18000 to 2 lakh rupees per annum. Which helps in providing the best education to all students irrespective of their financial state.

Campus Life

IIT Kanpur provides a wide range of societies and clubs for the overall development of the students and encourages them to explore new things without any fear and tension. Fests are also well organized with world-class celebrities entertaining the crowd.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is quite decent with sports amenities included inside the hostel and proper amenities like lifts, canteen, reading room, etc. Mess food is manageable in the 1st year, but not to worry as the food gets better in the 2nd year.

Admission

This college is located in a perfect location with a 1000-acre campus area giving a perfect college vibe full of fun activities and thrill. The main reason was that the faculty and competition that exists here have no match with other institutes.

Faculty

Faculty here is top notch with them having a great knowledge about their subject with practical labs of their own and skillful equipments. The method of paper setting is unique creating a competitive environment among the students.

Night Life

Nightlife here is so much more colorful due to the involvement of extracurricular activities like gym, dance, chilling at OAT, and much more. The food is also available in a few canteens around the clock providing a perfect kick for nighouts.

My Opinion about GL BAJAJ INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT

Placement Experience:

The student are available for placement from the starting of the 4th year of 7th semester. There's are lot of decent companies that come to our college like TCS, INFOSYS, MICROSOFT, CAPGEMINI etc The highest placement of my college is about 58 lpa and the average placement of my college is about 7.5lpa The 90 percentage of the students who participated in the placement are being placed rest are gone for their higher studies. My planned after getting my degree is to grab a decent package from the college and started my career.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements from the 6th semester. Recently Infosys visited our college, however the average and highest package was not yet declared but we have heard rumours that the highest package is somewhat around 30 LPA. The percentage of students getting placement is around 65%. My plans after getting this degree is applying for external placements as well.

Placement Experience:

Today in Srm Modi Nagar, Ghaziabad become eligible from seventh sector or the last year of the course. some of the top creators for the core branches are Amazon, Infosys , TCS , Wipro, IBM, SAP labs, Cognizant , Tech Mahindra, HCL , JP Morgan Chase , Philips , etc. in 2024 more than 958 companies visited the campus making more than 6200 job offers across all disciplines. the highest package for BTech students in Srm IST Delhi NCR campus ranged from 18 LPA to 22 LPA. Selective candidates Getting up to 29 LPA. the average package for BTech with artificial intelligence and machine learning 4.5 to 6.5 LPA. the lowest package for eligible students was 3.45 LPA. the placement rate for eligible students for the recent past years is 80% to 90% for cse departements but dipped to about 55% for all btech combined in 2023 to 24 large scale hiring typically happens from IT firms and consultancy company. Students are offered role such as software developer, analyst, data engineer, graduate trainee, systems engineer, business analyst, etc. my future plans are either do higher studies like M, tech and MBA or Work in software development and machine, Delhi related job roles.

The rate of my branch was quite high because I am in CSE AIML and future is totally depends on it that's why i select this branch. The College provide 100 percent to you for makeing you a winning horse in it sector but you will be initiated from your side.the most bad things is In first normal classess are going on like 12 and that is not good.some extra curricular activities is not happen in this college .they should be focus on this points. I choose this college becouse of its flexible acdemic structure and its great Alum connections. Also this is the best college i am getting according to my rank and my interest in mathematics. I have Applied for IIT delhi in electronics. IIT Delhi is also a great college but when it comes to academic focus IIT delhi lacks there. Also there faculty administratation is so strict. if a student wants to start something or he/she has a new iniative for the college , he/she will face hard time. So I couldn't make it to IIT Roper CSE branch because my jee adance rank is not that great for the Roper' Computer science. So the Admission process here at IITK is not difficult. You just the originaly document which you have submitted in your josa counselling portal and you need to verify it once here usually a couple opf hours work. The cut-off for IITK varies-from branch to branch. For example the CSE of IITk open from Jee advanced general rank of 115 to 250....Read More

I chose IIT Kanpur over othe rcooleges because of its academic reputation, research opportunities and strong alumini network. I was also able to get seats in other IITs but I preferred IIT Kanpur due to its legacy . I didn't face rejections, but did not opt for some colleges even after qualifying due to lower research output, weaker placement stats.
