It's a good college to get placed in good companies in karnataka also its not good when it comes to teaching faculty. In addition one should select this college because its in mysore and expensive study is less here.
Entrance Preview
I have written KCET exam from Karnataka where I got 6436 rank and pu got 87 % and I got in this college. I opted this college since mysore is less expensive and good environment also my senior cum cuisine suggested this college for its fame in karnataka.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have opted EE as my branch since I can go for soft as well as hardware. I have 4 years with 8 semester which has 6 subjects on avg in each semester.
Internships Opportunities
College supports little bit for internships like Goldman Sachs,schnieder in last year and some more in final year like all software .They offer stipend of 20000-25000 Rs pm. This has 3 round of interview selection.
Placement Experience
We have good opportunity to be placed. Average of 90 companies visits our campus every year. I got in Accenture. Nearly 600 placed out of 750 in our college as of now. We good placements for CS,EC guys. Companies like LinkedIn,netapp,NI,Cisco,Bosch,Walmart etc.
College Events
We have many cultural events like sparsh,shabd etc and tech fest like cyberia,tuxido from CS dept and workshops from IEEE conducted. We have our college fest jciyana biggest event in mysore conducted for 3 days which has cultural and sports events as a part of it. We have many dance,fashion show,DJ night and some rock shows.
Fee Structure And Facilities
We have 255000 Rs as college fee which includes 18000 Rs as teaching fee for college and remaining is for govt fee which we have to during September month. This fee is very feasible compared to other engineering colleges since its govt aided.
Fees and Financial Aid
Good encourages little bit of scholarship from government for scoring students like MHRD,fee concession,post matrix,food and accommodation and I got 2 scholarship every year but loan facility is not available as I'm concerned.
Campus Life
Campus life in sjce is quite good. Since we have cool friends and good roaming places inside campus. We conduct here sports day during our college fest. Here we have IEEE conducts robotics,Cyberia etc and LCC which conducts much more events. We celebrate ethnic day here. We have general election during even ask. We too have hostel parties for birthday and placement results.
Hostel Facilities
We have good hostel facilities in campus only but girls have little outside which is a problem. We have unlimited food which is little bit spicy. Cleaning facility is ok. Rooms are good for 3 boys per room we have around 37500 Rs per year includes 15000 r
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network in this college is very bad. Although there is a website and Facebook page for this there is lack of interaction. Since I stay in hostel I have good number of contacts with seniors. We should plan for good alumni network since we have akhilesh yadav from UP and javagal shrinath etc who studied here.
Exam Structure
We have 3 internals conducted for 30 marks and 2 events like quiz,seminars,assignment etc totally for 50 marks. We have sent exam of 3 hour conducted for 100 marks later reduced to 50 marks as a hole 100 marks we have grading system cgpa out of 10 we get

Here we have bad teaching faculty in almost all branches like EE,IP but EC,IS has good faculties where strictness is maintained but EE has very flexible and junior faculties which effects students academics. We have some retired faculties still now use fo
