College of engineering chengannur offers various undergraduate and post graduate programs with a curriculum designed to provide students with a strong foundation in their chosen field. Undergraduate programs(btech) are computer science and engineering, core courses are programming data structure algorithms etc. And specialization of artificial intelligence is also available here, electrical and electronics engineering with core courses electrical circuits power systems,electronics and communication engineering with core courses electronics communications network theory and etc.

There is a 5 day internship program provided by our college.Through this program we will have the opportunity to expand their technical expertise and delve into the endless possibilities of science technology and social development.Our internship will allow us to earn while we learn and develop practical skills that can benefit us in the future

From third year students become eligible for campus placements. The companies that visited college of engineering chengannur are IBM , UST, TCS, INFOSYS, COGNIZANT, IPA PRIVATE LIMITED etc. Highest package is nine lakhs. And average package is about five lakhs and more. So many students are getting placed in different companies. There are many students placed at above mentioned companies. And i would also like to be placed in these companies.

The college of engineering chengannur has a varied fee structure for its undergraduate and post graduate programs. As a btech student we have three different categories of fee structure. First one is merit seat second is management and the third one is the nri seat. For the merit seat the yearly fee structure is about 45000. And for the management seats the fee structure is 75000. For nri seats it is above one lakh. There is a scholarship provided by alumini reaction cell in our college.

Events are very less compared to other colleges. They focus mainly on academics. There are many workshops here we can attend that. The seniors are taking so many classess and there classess are very good. But there are no programs that are so fun and somthing like that. The programs that we have are mostly provided by ieee and iedc. We have library and many books are available. Students can study there. There is annual sports day and arts day in oru college. And a program called ethnic day is also an event.

Hostel rooms are so old but there is no problem. Hostel rooms are congested. There are so many five and four people in one rooms . Some rooms are with attached bathroom. Food is amazing here. So tasty food. Mess menu changes monthly. While we get admission in college we can take hostel admission there. Rent is so affordable.

I found this college while talking with my friend then i searched and got to know more about it. I got admission to the college through kerala entrance examination. Anyone with good rank can easily get admission to the college.

Faculty in the college of engineering chengannur are veru good. They have a team of experienced and qualified faculty members across various departments. For computer science department there are 20 above staffs with qualifications like ph.d mtech and btech. Like wise for every department. C programming, maths, and all other teachers teaches very well. And i didnt like electronics teachers. It must be because i dont like that subjects. Talking about exams there are 2 series tests in a semester and after that semester exam comes. Like wise in all the year.

There is a gym but it is not that active. Canteen is also here and foods are in affordable rate yet so delicious. Library access is also available for college students. And there is a study area in the library. There are three girls hostel and one boys hostel. Two girls hostel and boys hostel are just 5 min far from college. And another girls hostel is 15 min far and it is near to railway station so that students who are far can easily get to home. There are so many cafes here. The locality is safe but hostel gate closes at 6.30 so night hangouts are not possible.
