Course Curriculum Overview

5

Main agenda for choosing it was because of the placement ratio which is quite good, but only if u have the skillset to clear the placement rounds, the curriculum prepares us well for real world pursuits as well, by having many placement related training guiding and portraying how the office world and job world works and what skills are required in order to survive in it.the frequency and timing of exam are quite good actually, the mid terms happen after like almost 2 months and end terms happend 2 months after mid term, so the frequency of exam is not an issue, and my perspective on the difficulty level is that I cleared all my exams by studying one night before the exam so there's that, but it also depends on person to person

Internships Opportunities

5

The internship offers were somewhere between 15-25k but some of the companies even gave stipend of 50k , so yea there are no lack of opportunities you just need to be talented enough to.grab them, The domain of the projects were very various like generative ai, data analyst, software engineer, full stack developer, ui ux designer, web developer, etc

Placement Experience

5

From semester 3 students become eligible for campus placements, but make sure u have more than 60% in both 10th and 12th bcos maximum companies come with the criteria of 60% , and also please do not have any backlogs in any subject otherwise u won't be eligible for placements companies like ibm, Capgemini, Accenture come for placements, overall the number of companies are good Average package is around 6lpa, not quite sure about the percent of students getting placed , but if u have the skillset u won't have any problem in getting placed, my plans are I got placed , and I'll be joining the job after my course is completed

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees for the academic year 2023-2025 was 4 lakh 10 thousand , now I guess it has increased, I don't remember the exact amount but I guess I paid a registration fee as well to apply for the college, there was no other compulsory charges during course completion

Campus Life

5

Annual fest like aarohan, which is a complete cultural fests with various artists coming to perform, then there are fest like sldp, which is social leadership development program, where it's focused on socially developing the students to become better leaders and there are many other good fests that go on throughout the year, the range of books and journals in the library is quite good, the facilities and technology provinces are also top notch, and sports and extracurricular activities happen at a very large level , regarding clubs and social groups there are many good clubs some of which I was a part of like mental health club, writers clubs , etc.

Admission

I choose mit over others mainly because of their placement, I already heard about it that mit offers really good placements , so that was the main reason for choosing mit , no I didn't got rejected from other colleges, mit was the only college that I applied to , the admission procedure goes by, firstly u fill the registration form , then u wait for the entrance exam is like cet exams , if you clear that exam , then u move to the PI round. , after the PI round is done you're admission is confirmed , the cutoff for the entrance exam was 90/150 in 2023, eligibility is i guess more than 60% in bachelor's

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio is quite good, faculties are very approachable, considering my department MCA Science, all the faculties are very approachable, whether it's some issue related to the course or personal development, the faculties are there to guide you, in one semester there are 2 main exams mid terms and end terms both of which u need to clear, and apart from that there are internal exams like cca containing marks like 5-10-15 depending on the teacher , and also assignments are given some carry marks , some don't. My pov on the exam would be it's easy for those who study, even if u study a night before it's easy for you to clear the exams but u should have that level of compatibility towards ur course and subjects.

Interview Experience

5

There was a Personal Interview round, where I was asked questions related to my course, related to the technologies that are out being used, what was my pov on the technologies, was it a pro or a con , overall I had a very good experience about the interview, honestly i prepared through Google and YouTube,

Night Life

5

Inside the college favourite hangout spots would be the lawns , where u can just sit down on the grass and talk and spend time with ur friends, there basketball court as well, and there are many areas to just sit and chill with ur buddies, there are several cafeterias to just have coffe and grab a snack , famous hangout places outside college is basically the lane on the front gate of mit where there are numerous outlets and various number of good options to eat, if u go on the back gate , there's a shop named chadda , the samosa chat at that place is really good, if u go further from the back gate, you'll come across Ganesh chaiwala, the chai there is amazing

Course Curriculum Overview:

Talking about the courses which chhatrapati shivaji maharaj University provides are good they almost provide all the courses students have choices which course they want to choose. From my perspective all the teachers should improve their teaching method because csmu teachers don't teach students well. Exams which is held usually after one and a half month of college starting is of 1 hour duration and our semester exam duration is 3 hours and exam level is average students can score well in exams.

I am glad that I got a chance to share my ideas for IMRD, an institute which nurtured and molded me with great skills. This only made me capable enough to get into a company like WIPRO. I realized how lucky I am; to be a part of IMRD Shirpur, when I put my foot in the industry. We always used to hear that industry is very tough; we may need to fight for our place, It's true; we have seen people doing that.
