A perfect college

In the final verdict, I would say MIT Group has many colleges in this campus which are among top 3 colleges in Pune. MACS College certainly is among top 10.

MIT College Entrance Exam for MCA (Commerce). The college conduct their own entrance exam for every course. Following is the entrance test process: Entrance Test on computer (MCQ), Personal Interview by professors.

The syllabus of MCA (Commerce) which is designed by University of Pune is just a perfect one. We are taught from basic subjects which have already been covered in Bachelor's degree to all advanced level subjects. MCA (Commerce) is the perfect course for those students who want to add a pinch of management fundas along with technical knowledge.

Basically college does not provide any kind of internship. Instead, they invite many companies for campus placement process which also includes internship selection. Companies select students for internship using common interview process and if you are good in your work, you get placed in the same company.

Good campus with good teaching staff and good facilities and placements. Many MNCs come here to hire students. These some big names include TCS, Infosys, Zensar, Accenture, Cognizant, IBM, L&T and many more. The college also organize shared day placement process where more than one companies share the campus placement process and students can appear in any/all interviews according to their eligibility.

The college celebrates many festivals which includes technical, cultural and management events. The annual festival is celebrated every year in the month of December-January. Apart from this, religious festivals like Janmastami are also celebrated in the college. Technical events allow students show their hidden skills and abilities.

Fee structure is generalized which is very much affordable. The college runs three programs which are as follows: MCA (Science), MCA (Commerce), MSC. IT. Fees for local students is less than the OMS students. If I talk about my fees (MCA Commerce) they were as follows: First Year-62,000 INR, Second Year-61,000 INR, Third Year-60,000 INR.

I have not heard about any kind of scholarship or loan being offered by the college to any of the students. Yes they are very helpful in fees collection, on the request of late payment, they mostly allow the late payment of fees(15 days to 1 month).

Very good campus and it is at prime location in Pune. You will find a great diversity of people here. People all over from various states in India come here. The campus also has School of Photography and Management Colleges thus offering a great exposure to different people from different fields.

Following are the review of Hostel from my friends who stayed there. Food and water problem, Expected services are not up to mark, as were said previously, Water quality is worst, become expensive if all these factors considered. Room quality is okay. I was living in PG which costed me 8,000 INR per month including food.

They are friendly in nature senior are also treating their junior as like their friend there are no one available for doing ragging to their juniors when ever junior are in need of any help or any notes they are ready to help always.

MACS College conduct 2 mid-term examinations in each semester which helps students to prepare their subjects well in parts. The first mid-term is conducted after two months or so which covers 40-50% of the syllabus. Second mid-term is conducted after four months which covers 90% of the syllabus and they the students appear for the final examination. Lab sessions are also conducted two days a week, each session is of 3 hours which allows students to work on their technical subjects very well.

Good teaching staff with adequate knowledge on various MCA subjects. One of the good things about this college is that they make use of advanced technologies and facilities to teach students in the best way possible. Teaching staff is very co-operative and always help students anytime they need.
