Remarks

Overall college is amazing. It would be more interesting if you participate in committees, events and fests.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

N.M. college is offering courses of commerce field only. In Junior college, there are 2 years. In degree college, there is General BCom and SFCs (BAF, BFM, BMS, BSCIT). In post-graduation, there is MCOM in accountancy and in business management. As college is autonomous so the paper set and exam conducted by the college itself. Earlier it was Mumbai university but autonomous raise the level of college.

Placement Experience

5

We have a training and placement cell (TPC). As this is the top college for commerce. We have top companies to recruit. Some companies like TATA Capital, Crisil, KPMG, Edelweiss, E&Y, Deloitte. Most of the students get the placement. It went through many processes like GD, WAT, interview, etc. Internships are also available but for second and third-year students.

College Events

5

N.M. has the biggest fest of Mumbai that is Umang where we have the most eminent personalities from Bollywood. Besides this, we have many cultural fests, economic fest, entrepreneurs fest, etc. Different events organised by different committees. Some of the events are UMANG, Leadership Summit, Rotofest, Milap etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees for TY BCom is approximately 6000 rupees. In FYJC and SYJC there were very fewer fees. For FYBCom and SYBcom it was approximately 5000 rupees. For SFCs it is between 15000-20000 depending upon the course. On average it's very cost-effective and money value college.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I haven't opted for any scholarship or education loan. As fees of college are very minimal and affordable. There is a freeship for girls in junior college.

Campus Life

5

Infrastructure and campus are very luxurious and clean. All classroom has at least 3 ACs and 3 fans with bright LED lights. Gender ratio of girls and boys is equal. Most of the crowd is Gujarati. N M has Gymkhana, indoor games like Carrom, Chess, computer lab, relaxation area (known as an old canteen), many halls like Santokba, Bhaidas. We have many competition on sports day, business plan competition, dance, art, drama competition etc.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are very helpful in assisting us. We usually get connected via committees. They always guide us to manage this (mostly related to other activities like fest, events) efficiently.

Admission

In 10th std, I got 93%. I was clueless where to go but I was sure about which stream I want. So I find the best college in fact top college for the stream I like is Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics. This college was suggested by my principal. Then I applied online through the college website. I found my name on the first list. Then the offline procedure of 1 day makes me eligible to attend a college.

Faculty

5

Faculties are very helpful, kind, motivating, cheerful, not at all boring type. All faculties are very active along with students in the various fest, programs, committees. All of them are very educated, knowledgeable. Most of them have completed their doctoral degree. They all are available till the last moment of the exam. They provide us with notes, solution of sums, answers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is one of the top educational institution in Nagpur with A NAAC Grade getting admission to the college is a dream for many the College have a good name. Faculty: I’m just writing about my course rest I don’t know much about there faculties and classes we don’t have any faculty except Accounts subject because of no faculty they never conducted any class for other subjects like economics, business management, business law, company law, etc. Student ratio: Students for the particular course are high but the class size is small it never matters just because they never conducted any classes. Qualification of teacher: They are not experienced they keep writing the same question again and again not going to clear your any doubt they don’t have much knowledge about. Term exams are conducted but no students agree to give any of the exams but who have given they don’t give any result of that it is conducted for formality.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course has everything that a bachelor of commerce student needs. It is revised every year to meet the current industry requirements. After 12th I wanted to do b.com because that was where I thought my interests lies. The faculty student ratio would be 1:100. The faculties here are highly qualified and teaches their best. There was sememster pattern in college so we had exams every 6 months and with what and how easily our teachers taught us it was not that difficult to pass the exams.
