Likes

Faculty are chill and more friendly with students
Class size is decent and maintained decorum
Placement is decent...many MNCs come for recruitment

Dislikes

Campus is small .and only one playground for all sports
There are so many students in college...as intake is increased
Sports culture are not more interesting as compared to other colleges

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is so decent .as students can do whatever they want a part from the academics saturday and sundays are holidays and daily basis there is only 4 to 5 hour classes. The exams are held two times per semester first is med sem and after 3 months there is end semester

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 192000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure in VIT is according to the categories it varies just like in open category you have to pay 192000 for SC and SC category there is only 6000 and for OBC student there is 107000 . Yes government will provide the scholarship for eligible students

Campus Life

The overall experience I got in this college is decent I will rate four star there are so many clubs in college with different domain such as technical hardware mechanical etc and many more . The infrastructure of the college is good but campus is too small

Admission

The main thing that attracted me towards his college is the academics. Our college trained us to develop soft skills as well as technical skills . And we have to make many projects in our technical journey of 4 years

Faculty

In vit the faculty are chille and more friendly with students.. anytime we can call our teachers for asking doubt the coarse structure in all 4 years are also different in first year they we have to focus on our speaking skills or soft skills and then last 3 years are for technical skill development

Night Life

Yes there are so many countries in our college also the gym cafe areas library public area all are allowed to be used up to 6:00 p.m. daily. our college hostel is Not in our college campus it is 2.5 km away from the college so many students live in the nearby areas of college

As out batch is of 2024 Covid batch there has been no such placement occurred but after that the ratio has increased

Course Curriculum Overview:

The part of the curriculum that inspired me to take up this course is definitely applied mathematics as engineering has a lot of math integrated in it and helps the student to improve his/her logic and problem solving skills which are very important in today's job market. Some areas where I'd like the syllabus to improve are NEP related subjects like PPS, Indian Knowledge System etc. These courses are not related to the major but are included because of the New Education Policy(NEP). I feel that most of these courses are a complete waste of time and can be replaced by better courses.

Reality of VIT, Pune

I had applied for COEP technological University, PCCOE Pimpri, and VJTI. I got confirmed addmissions in PCCOE for mechanical course , COEP for metallurgy and VJTI for textile industry. At the last, I took addmission in VIT mechanical. VIT, Pune has good nirf rankings and rather than opting for branches like metallurgy and textile industry I choose mechanical. And between pccoe and vit I choose Vit. Vit accepts admission through cet and jee mains. Also dor dsy students it accpets through cet exam. Cutoff changes every year has been increasing as number of participants has increased. Overall, after the allotment of the college it took 3 hours to take addmission. It could be less if you have alll required documents and fees has been already paid using mean like dd....Read More
