Likes

The campus has green lawns which makes the environment so peaceful and beautiful.
The campus has multiple infrastructure and opportunities for sports.
The campus new building has a very good classroom infrastructure

Dislikes

The canteen is small and also not much hygienic
The library is old and lacks the latest edition of some books
The computers in the labs are also very old and some of them don't even function properly.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good. It is as per the new education policy on which we have to study 3 domain subjects and 4 optional subjects in which we have to choose our subject. Exams are held in December-January for odd semesters and May-June for even semesters.

Class Size: 160Course Fees: INR 16000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of 1st year for my course is 16000. For second, third, final year it is 15500 per year. The fourth year is optional to do. College provides scholarship for financialy weak students and refund their fees.

Campus Life

The campus life is good. It has multiple clubs and societies such as Enactus, Consulting Society, Placement Cell, Finance and Investment Cell which offers training opportunities in the respective fields of students and also introduce them to extracurricular activities.

Admission

It is one of the top 10 colleges of Delhi University. I have applied for Sri Ram College of Commerce, Hindu College, Hansraj College above it but the cutt off for these colleges was higher than my marks. Colleges are allotted as per the marks in CUET-UG exam.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio of the college is 50:1. All the faculty members are very much educated and are proficient in their respective fields. The exams are not very tough and students can easily score well.

Night Life

The nightlife is also good around the campus area . IT has famous Tea stall known as Sudama Tea and also the famous Tom Uncle Maggie Point. It falls in the University Enclave the famous north campus of Delhi University.

Things you should know about Mata sundri college, DU

Course Curriculum Overview:

My liking for accepting influenced my decision to choose b.com hons . The curriculum prepares well for real world applications however I think that work on field give more knowledge. Teachers should teach with real life case studies and examples rather than with the bookish theories. The exam are not that though if you had go through the whole syllabus for once (nicely) you can pass the exam with good marks .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen B.Com with Economics as my course.Because I have done 11-12 from commerce site and I am interested in commerce subjects like accounts, economics.The problems that occur in this subject It takes some time to understand this.You have to study in the right way and take classes.Most importantly, if you want to score good marks in the exam, then you should not skip any exam, be it theory or internal assessment.In this field you can make your future in the lines of accounting economist, otherwise this course is the best according to me and I like it.And if you go ahead and do higher studies in this also Like you can do higher studies in accounting line Due to which your knowledge will increase further.

I would say, the curriculum is also good, like we have labs, and tutorial classes also, in which students get their answers and their doubts are solved. Area of improvement - There should be proper labs of python lecture classes.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is quite active. Many companies in the past have recruited from the college with average package of 5-6lpa and highest being 35lpa. Aroumd 50-60% students appear to get the placements.

Truly great experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

The teaching method of the teachers are the best and their no need to change but some teachers take less time and finishes important topic so they can teach more. The time table of our college is very manageable and the timings of the paper are good and the teacher takes class test on weekly basis so it help us to learn topic easy.

Choose bcom program and it a good choice for me. Commerce department is very helpful and supportive. Teacher are very helpful and kind to every student. Time table needs to change because class starts from 8:40am and ends 5:00pm . This needs big change

The life you should live in college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is thorough and pertinent, in my opinion. I chose this course because it helps me understand real-world business situations by covering both the theoretical and practical aspects of commerce, such as accounting, economics, and business law. The subjects are helpful for both real-world employment and future studies like an MBA or CA. Although the course prepares us well, it could be enhanced by including more hands-on learning opportunities, internships, and professional guest lectures. To make lessons more interesting, teachers can employ more interactive techniques like group discussions and digital resources. Exams are scheduled appropriately, but occasionally the timetable feels constrained and leaves little time for review. The exam is at a moderate level and assesses more than just memorisation; it tests our comprehension of subjects.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is fairly good with kpmg, Deloitte, Genpact, Accenture. The average package usually ranges from Rs 5-6 LPA while highest have gone to Rs 23 lakhs in recent years. The placements are bagged by proactive students usually with good communication skills and academic records.

My preference list was like this 1. SRCC 2. Hindu College 3. Hansraj College 4. Kirorimal college 5.
