Remarks

I don't see any positive remarks about the college. But negative yes. Attendance just be strictly 85% which means we can only miss 5 classes pet subject. Classes are 8-5 are exhausting and we can do nothing after that.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

It's pretty basic, old and not updated to the needs of industries. All we get to study are the basic concepts which are not at all used in our future. I think they must be updated. And although we study basic things, that's a lot to take in.

Internships Opportunities

No, college doesn't provide internship. But they give industrial training in summer and we need to pay for that too. They say that they support us to do internship outside but that's not fulfilled properly

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements are almost for computer science, information science, mechanical, telecommunication branches. Most of the Students from first two branches get placed with average of 4.5 LPA package. But other branch students must struggle to get placed.

College Events

1.5

They just celebrate national festivals and swamiji's birthday. They just hoist the flag from guests who give long speeches of no use and distribute sweets. They do make attendance compulsory for students but not many of them go.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It depends. If the student is from general category or he is from other state he has to pay 2 LPA. Which doesn't include hostel fees. They also take fees for different random things like exam fees etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

No such scholarships from college. But if students are getting good GPA they do give awards. And at the end of 4 years, they do give financial prizes to toppers in the branches. I don't know how much of that is true.

Campus Life

3.5

They support sports. They allow us to form groups for different activities. But they don't give us time for that. We have 8-5 classes everyday. We can do any activities afterwards. And also they don't give any financial support to any activities.

Hostel Facilities

3

It's okay okay type. Not so good and not too bad. I'm a day scholar and I don't know much about hostels. But I've been there few times. Food is average. I mean eatable. Other facilities in hostel are also good

Alumni/Alumna

Not much. But yes. It depends on how many friends and network we make. But according to what senior friends I have , they do help answering few questions and doubts when I ask. Yes, they are pretty helpful I would say.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is okay. We get at least one day off between two exams. It will be a 3 hour exam even for labs. The exam period last from 20 to 25 days. There will be two stage evaluation too. But re-registered students will have to pay extra fees.

Admission

I'm from Karnataka and we write common entrance test (CET) to get into engineering. According to the ranks we get to choose our engineering college. The admission also depends on caste categories and I belong to SC category. So, I like this I got into this college.

Faculty

2.5

They are pretty good. But not so updated. They answer to the questions we got. But some teachers are just doing their job and getting paid for it and nothing else. That's bad. I think college needs to hire good knowledgeable professors

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.
