Overall, my experience with campus life has been highly Positive, offering a vibrant and inclusive environment that fosters personal growth and community engagement. The social aspects of campus life are particularly strong, with diverse student body and numerous events organized throughout the year.

Hostel Facilities

5

The hostel facility at the college is denerally well-maintained, providing a comfortable and functional living space for students. The rooms are simple but spacious enough for essentials, with basic furniture like beds, chair, desk, wardrobes.

Admission

I applied other colleges like COEP, VIT, other govt colleges. I choose this college because this is govt college and placement, faculty, campus and other facilities are good compare other colleges. To get admission in this college you have to give MHT-CET Exam and on the basis of merit you will get college and branch.Cutoffs vary according to category for Open about 90+

Placement Experience:

For 5th semester students become eligible for internship (stipend based)...And from 7th semester for placements. TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, Wipro, Tech Mahindra – for software roles Larsen & Toubro, Honeywell, Siemens, KPIT, Bosch, Persistent Systems – for core engineering roles (ENTC, Mechanical, IT) Other startups & IT product companies also visit for internships and full-time offers. Highest Package: Around ?24–28 LPA (mainly for CSE/IT students in product-based companies like Goldman Sachs, Amazon, TCS iON, etc.) Average Package: Around ?4.5–6 LPA for core and IT companies, and ?3.5–5 LPA for ENTC students. Each year, over 90% of CSE/IT/ENTC students get placed. Branch-specific placements may vary: CSE usually sees 95–98% placements, ENTC around 85–90%, and other branches slightly lower. I'm planning for higher degree (mtech)

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated Training and Placement(T&P) cell and has regular recruitment drives that work to place students in companies where they will be values highly. Each year, 600-700 students are placed from all the branches. More than 300+ companies visit but the ones that hire are limited such as TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra which generally are mass recruiters that look for employees that will work for 3LPA or 4.5LPA. The highest packages go to about 30 to 40 LPA domestic and 61 LPA foreign but it is very rare to get a placement like this and requries considerable effort on the side of the student as well. Average package is 7 LPA for CS/IT branch; 5 LPA for electronics and telecommunications branch; 4 LPA for mechanical. My plan after getting the degree is working for 1-2 years while simultaneously pursuing masters.
