Likes

The first thing which I like about my college is that it is the college of Government of maharastra due to which The tution fee is very less. All the permanent professor are very satisfying in teaching.
Though college is government they will strictly follow the rules in lecture and Attendance is compulsory for all students.
Talking about infrastructure of the college it was built by the British people latter in 1960 after independence it announced as college of engineering. This college is 5th famous college of engineering in Maharashtra.

Dislikes

Not all the faculty are permanent, most of the teachers are visiting faculty. Visiting faculties are basically pass out students who don't have that much experience of teaching.
Rules are very strict. College have grate campus but no one is allowed to sit in campus. When we sit in campus Watchman came and start saying that you can't sit here in 10-5 Time
Most of the equipment in laboratories are not working if we go for complain they just say we have submitted your complaints to government they will be take action on it.

Course Curriculum Overview

Talking about curriculum as now I am in second year I have 5 subjects and only 3 subjects are related to Electrical Engineering and 2 subjects from ENTC taught to us. All the Electrical subjects have good topics but other than Electrical subjects the syllabus is outdated and not having real life applications.

Class Size: 66Course Fees: INR 83275 per year

Internships Opportunities

Only 10 Toppers in a class get the internship from college and other students told to do internship on their own anywhere they want. They only give the letter for internship and you have to track HR from LinkedIn for the internship

Placement Experience

College placement is 100 percent but not all the students are placed some go for Masters. Currently 250/360 students are placed. And 2 students got 13LPA . Companies like Adani power, Tata, Wipro, L&T came for placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for Open students is 83 Thousands and for Reservation students it is 40 Thousands. The students who came in Reservation category the got the scholarship from government as well as from some private companies. Out of 66 Students 40 were placed last year and average package is about 5 lack.

Campus Life

This is the main question and I really appreciate this question because college life is incomplete without clubs. College has both technical and non technical clubs. Most of the cultural activities and Annual function taken by the Cultural committee. AAVISHKAAR is one of the greatest technical event held in our college.

Admission

To get admission in college everyone have to give the entrance exam named MHT-CET. Each branch/trade have different cut-off. For Information Technology- 95 percentile Electrical - 93 percentile. Mechanical- 92 percentile. Civil - 89 percentile All the cut-off mentioned above are for the open category.

Faculty

Talking about faculty there are very few permanent faculties present for teaching. Most faculties are visiting and they just completed their degree and now teaching to us. But all the permanent faculties are well experienced in teaching as well as the know all the techniques which are known to a good teacher.

Sem 6 is considered preferable for the college placement many students starts getting placed from that, many companies like wipro, mahindra & mahindra, tcs, capgemini, etc. visits each year to the college each and every students gets atleast a offer to them few also gets more than one like 2 to utmost 3 also,750+ students got offered at the final year of 2023 if we include internship offer than it goes more than 1200, in campus highest package was 12lacs off campus was 62lacs, (85%)+ of the students gets placed each year in the college. After i get degree i would try for college placements and would also focus parallely for the off campus placements too, and ofc wherever i will get the highest placement i would go for it.

An honest look at my college

I have given MHT-CET exam to be eligible to get admission in this collge with the mimum percentile of 95. Then through cap round-1 I got this college. I availed the benefit of EBC scholarship which require the income proof of less than 8 Lakhs per annum.
