- The college bathrooms need to be maintained.
- Both the teachers and the students are not punctual.They don't follow the time .
- Teaching should be done in english as well because not every students understands Assamese language
Course Curriculum Overview
I honestly chose this course because I am interested in business related matters. I am looking forward to do a business in the coming days . I would be satisfied and glad if our teachers teach in English and gives more preference because some of the students just come to class and they don't understand anything whatever is being taught .
Fees and Financial Aid
Admission fee for one semester we pay 5000 We haven't done 6th semester addmission till now . Examination fees we pay 1000 for every semester. And for students who have bpl card they are given free admission. For every semester there is different amount of money for addmission... During 1st semester we paid 3000 and for 2nd we paid 2,700 and for 3rd semester we paid 3,500 and for 4th semester we paid 2,750 and for 5th semester we paid 5000 and our six semester addmission notice is not out yet .
Campus Life
Gauhati commerce college is very interesting and the teachings the extra curricular activities offers by the college and other union bodies are very fun and all the students loved it . The union bodies are also very helpful to everyone.
Admission
I particularly choose this college because I have a lot of expectations from this college. I have heardy friends and other mutual friends talking good about our college and how well they teach the students so i wanted to come to this college and study and so i applied for this college and i got addmission.
Faculty
The faculty to student relationship is overall good . They try to solve our problems if we are facing any . They look for the betterment and improvement for us . There is no such particular teacher which I can say is bad or i don't like them because everyone is good and they they loves all the students equally.
Interview Experience
No there were no group discussion or or interview or any other sorts of written test for the admission. We have just submitted our form and they our names were selected for the admission and it was on the merrit list .
Night Life
Gauhati commerce college is a very big college and it has a huge campus. The library, the canteen, common room etc . The students enjoy going around the college campus during free classes and talk with their friends. Our college also has hostel but it is only for the boys.
