Well, nothing specific has influenced me in the decision to choose this course that is BCOM as most of these student after passing shoes, so I also opt to BCOM. Well, the curriculum does not fully prepare the students for real world applications or further academic pursuits. They does not provide any practical knowledge or any kind of internship to the students for the real world. Well, according to me, they should provide some internship or something related to practical knowledge. This improvements are very necessary. The frequency and timing of exams is very low like within four months the university tries to complete the whole semester, and it's very hard to complete the whole syllabus within just four months.

Batch :- 2022 Category- General 1. Yearly Fee Breakdown The approximate early fee for general category of Guwahati commerce College is around INR 10,000. This includes various important components that is admission fees, development fees, tuition fees, laboratory fees and other compulsory charges. the tuition fee is around 6000 per year and admission fees is around 1000. additionally, student pay 1500 for development fees and 500 for laboratory fees and other charges amounting to ?1000. 2. Total Course Fees Since the course is of around three years, so the total cost for three years is around approximately ?30,000. over the years, the fee has increased because of the administrative changes and institution policy. 3. Scholarship and Financial Aid The college itself does not provide any kind of scholarship, but the students can apply for government funded financial aid. One such notable scholarship is the Ishan Uday scholarship, which is funded by the state government. a scholarship is designed to help the students of north-eastern region based on merit and financial need. additionally, students from OBC, ST, and SC categories may be eligible for other government-backed scholarships and fee waivers.

Does not have any kind of technical festivals. They do conduct an annual festival during the month of February, which includes Indoor and outdoor sports and in the last day of annual week they do organise or bring some music artist or DJ. The library has various range of books with many languages, including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Sanskrit etc. Various kind of sports offer on campus like cricket, football, badminton , table, tennis, and indoor sports like chess, Panja, etc. Some student do run some social groups for clubs, something more like political clubs, and yeah, this impact their student life because they spend their most of the time into the groups which hampers their student life, and it also hampers into their studies.

I've applied to many other colleges in Guwahati city like KC DAS commerce College , Dispur College, but I have choosed this college at last, because this college is also known as the best college in the entire Northeast, so I have chooses this college. Even I know many people who have passed from this college, and I heard from them that this college is good for education And does not have that strict criteria for regular attendance. Well the admission process isn't that tough to get into the college, but this college has very high cut-off for the General students. It does not have high cut-off for SC and ST students. Due to the high cut-off many students, miss their opportunities.

Well, the teachers do explain very nicely to the students, but few of them are very rude towards students. I really loved the management faculty as in that particular faculty. Most of the teachers can make you explain the topics in a very decent manner, and they are very approachable. I did not like the accounts faculty as most of the teachers from that faculty are very rude towards student. They are very narrow minded. well, basically exams are conducted by the Guwahati University itself, so the paper is is not that tough and almost overall 98 percentage of students clear the exams.

College do provide gym with various basic equipments. Even the library is decent. Library has lot of Books with many languages. Even college do have a boys hostel. College does not have any girls hostel yet the timing of boys hostel is from morning 6 o'clock to evening 8 o'clock inside the college. There do not have any famous hangout places, but outside the college. Their are plenty of hangout places Like fancy cafes, fancy restaurants, and it is locality safe to roam around at night for both boys and girls.
