The college provides you with great oppurtunities to shine and expose your self.
The college atmosphere and environment are so calming and mind relaxing.
The faculties are very supportive and helpful. They are always willing to solve our doubts and concerns.

Dislikes

As it is a good college there is a great competiton between students.
Canteen facilities are not so good. they have the same meal menu for everyday.
Placement facilities for some departments are very poor as compared to the rest of the departments.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curiculum provided by KTU is a bit tough . we face a serious issue with the tight schedules of exams like series exams 1 and 2. In my opinion the exam scheduled should be conducted prior to the commencement of classes whivh helps the students to prepare more efficiently and effectively.

Class Size: 62Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The detaied fee structure of our college varies based on the catagory and course. -Tuition fee:Rs 79000 for the first year, 82990 for the second year, 87140 for the third year , and 91500 for the fourth year. -Admission fee: Rs240 for the first years only. -Caution deposit: Rs 5000 for the first years only. -PTA fund: Rs 5000 for the first year and 750 for the subsequent years.

Campus Life

Our college is vry much famous for its technical and cultural events named ADVENT and CULT A WAY. Both are typically held at a time periood between march to june. Our library ffers a variety of informative books which are accessible to students of all years. Each classroon is provided with a projector and screen for the visualizing ofbstudy materials. Also or college cnducts sports and arts festivals.

Admission

I acually applied for Emmanuel college vazhichal for the curse of biotechnology andbotany . I got the admission right away but the problem was with the distance. It was difficult for me to travel sucha long distance. I also got admission at LBS college of engineering for IT. But i was not sure of taking a subject which is related to computer si dropped it. I wan't rejected by any of the colleges that i applied. The admission process concluded KEAM exam results and spot admissions.

Faculty

The teachers are very supportive and caring. As for our biotechnology and biochemical department the faculties are very well educated ones with great mentorship quality. they often shares their views and thoughts to us students.They are the real light behind each of the students success.

Night Life

Our college does not encourage late night hangouts, but there are may food spots nearby our college. Some of the famous hangout places are, pizzahut, apm hotel, tass hotel, capsee chicken, gg bakery, dessi cuppa etc. The campus timings are very strict and there will not be any considerations for students who comes afters 7pm.

Positive remarks is the college is autonomous because we are directly under the Cochin University of Science and Technology. So the CUSAT name plays a big role in whole Kerala. The certificate has a big value. In case of negative remarks, some works are not doing properly, like small maintenance work and all.

A closer look at the hidden gems of campus living

I totally applied only to three colleges. I choose this college because at that time it was in top 11 colleges in kerala. On the trial allotment itself i got merit seat in this college.This college was near to my home district. I didn't get rejected from other two colleges . To get admitted We have to clear keam exam conducted by the kerala government. To have a merit seat one must have comparatively good rank. Seats are also available in management quota and nri. Sree Chitra college of engineering - this is where i belong

This is the top 2 college in my district which is best for the placement and best interships. i also approached for college of engineering trivandrum which is the most best college in our state.these two are same for their curriculum and subjects which differs them is the interships and placements the cet offers a better placmenets than the sct .due to its his demand i didnt get admission in cet due to low rank as compared to sct.
