Likes

The infrastructure of the university gives you a perfect learning environment
The faculties are highly qualified to train the students
The library is the best part out of the university

Dislikes

Too many rules and regulations to be followed
Arrear fees is 6000 per subject which is too much
Attendance minimum criteria is seventify percentage

Course Curriculum Overview

The exams are pretty hectic along with Digital Assignments we have to submit every now and then. Each assignment contains 10 marks so we have to be super punctual about it's submission or else we will end up loosing 10 marks

Internships Opportunities

So far I haven't done any internships. But most of the people do internship so that their CV will stand out from the others. It's actually good to do internships. It'll built you skills and talents. It's fun

Fees and Financial Aid

Per year the tuition fees is a sum of 1 lakh rupees excluding the hostel fees. It's same for all my classmates. And there is no such scholarships I'm aware about. This includes all of the lab fees, exam fees etc.

Campus Life

In this university we have a lot of clubs and chapters offered to showcase our skills and talents. It's the best part of the University to be honest. We get to interact with new people resulting in a positive manner

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities are super good. It provides students with all basic facilities. The mess menu provides huge variety of cuisine making all of the students taste. Room keeping is also quite good. But will have to face dogs issues

Hostel Fee: INR 140000 per year

Admission

My parents biggest desire was to see me going to VIT Vellore. And also when I read reviews from students from the University I believed that this is going to be my destination. I really enjoy being here

Faculty

The faculties are highly qualified to train the students. Per semester three exams will be conducted ie CAT1, CAT2 and FAT. Cat1 will be the first internal exams to happen and CAT2 is an open book exam. FAT is the final exam of the semester

Night Life

Basically girls from VIT has 0 night life as 8 30 is the in time for Women hostelers. Where as boys can enjoy to the best. And also the city is not at all safe for girls to roam around. But if you're a part of any club or chapter you can apply for night slip and roam inside university

Best option for Animation and Multimedia at this price, but you have to work hard yourself.

Placement Experience:

In the last semester students become eligible for placements. The companies that visited this year were Saffronics and Tata Elxsi. I am unaware of the offers made. The packages offered were around 4 to 8 lakh rupees. Around 20% students got places, many of them went into freelancing or higher studies. I had an offer for 4lpa but refused it, since I wanted to focus more on my portfolio and skills.

Remarks:

Overall my college is not worth if you want to learn things and are new to the field. If you are confident enough that no matter what happens i will learn myself then you are good to join because that's what we do here. Most of our work and knowledge is of our own which we learned from the internet and other places.

You know everyone first priority would be going into the iits or nits if you won't get a seat there you search deemed to be colleges like vit amity , I choose vit as my college over iiit sri city which I got seat in it because vit has more exposure than iiit sricity and the main choosing vit was you get good college life with a beautiful campus, the people surrounded in vit are more better and knowledable compared to other colleges like amity, amrita,satyabamma and I aslo thought of going into amity and but I am that I am in vit I think it's better in every corner from that as per placements, college life and even faculty .
