Course Curriculum Overview

5

Highly demanding and recommended course. Really well. Need to change a bit more about how it's taught. Very important and beautiful aspects for course and very sought after course. The teaching methods for practical subjects can change.

Internships Opportunities

5

Many- thru the department and placement cell. Opportunities include management, consulting, read, teaching and training, sports, filmmaking, VFX, Graphic design, editing, script writing and other related subjects and fields

Placement Experience

5

Placement is there. Friends got placed. 90% of students who applied for placements from my class got in. VFXcompanies, banking and corporate companies. I'm pursuing masters or management business administration.

Fees and Financial Aid

Approx 1L per year. Attendence is very important. Under 80% means you've to pay condonation fees. Everything else is normal. Government aided shift is 8am to 1pm which is nearly 50% lesser than self financed shift 1.30-6.30pm. LSSS has many support services for the students to support them financially. The alumni also have many support fundings and scholarships. The The student council is superb. Deans office and other admin office is your friends! Faculty were the best from industry with great expertise and network which really helped me and my classmates get placed.

Campus Life

5

Overall experience was amazing! I learnt a lot and had great fun learning and Participating. Even semesters are great for cultural activities. Sports is also great. Student run clubs and activities are brilliant

Admission

Infrastructure, faculty and prestige. Apply online- wait for response and 1-3 lists will come. Smooth and simple. Application test was there-LOVAT. interview and recommendation is good. I didn't get rejected.

Faculty

5

1:20 and extremely student friendly and chill. Nidhya Balasubraminian a good professor but heavily biased. Doc Bharathi bull shit. Two Continous Internal Assessments and one semester exam. For practical subjects- practical exams.

Other Applied Colleges

Ethiraj College for Women | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Visual Communication)

Poor infrastructure, poor faculty, peer group mismatch.

Placement Experience:

In the last semester students become eligible for placements. The companies that visited this year were Saffronics and Tata Elxsi. I am unaware of the offers made. The packages offered were around 4 to 8 lakh rupees. Around 20% students got places, many of them went into freelancing or higher studies. I had an offer for 4lpa but refused it, since I wanted to focus more on my portfolio and skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am very passionate about animation and visual effects and I am very interested in editing. A Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Animation is an undergraduate degree program that focuses on teaching students the principles and techniques of animation. This includes traditional animation, computer animation, 3D modelling, character design, storytelling, and more. The program typically combines artistic and technical skills, preparing graduates for careers in animation studios, production companies, game development firms, and other related industries.

Remarks:

Overall my college is not worth if you want to learn things and are new to the field. If you are confident enough that no matter what happens i will learn myself then you are good to join because that's what we do here. Most of our work and knowledge is of our own which we learned from the internet and other places.
