Remarks

Positive: Infrastructure is good, food is okay in comparison with other hostels. Teachers are friendly. Technical and Cultural Societies are there. Negative: the Main and only focus of the college is to get the highest score in academics and maintain its position at the top, nothing else. there is a fine system for every small fault. fees is also too high around 1,25,000. even hostel fees in 1,00,000 that is too much and no special facility is provided even we have to own our personnel cooler and have to pay 900 Rs. a month for cooler which is fixed not depend upon electric meter.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is quite good. it consists of all the main subjects that are asked in any technical exam such as GATE. it also contains a managerial subject every semester. The overall course contains 8 semester for B.Tech Course.

Placement Experience

Placements are okay, mostly all students of CS/IT got placed but for other branches, the placement % is not so good. Mainly Companies come for Recruiting are Newgen, MAQ, Infosys Bosch, Quench, Samsung, Wipro, HSBC etc.

College Events

Every Society of college conducts an event every semester in which students get part. Nothing else No Cultural or Technical Fest is there in our college. The technical fest was organised earlier in our college or lastly held in 2015 but at that year college got many Back in C. so, from then no fests are there.

Campus Life

There is SAKSHAM- the sports meet, a sports event of our college which is organised every year. it is about a one-month long event where students participated in various games and sports of their choice.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel fees in 1,00,000 that is too much and no special facility is provided even we have to own our personnel cooler and have to pay 900 Rs. a month for cooler which is fixed not depend upon electric meter. But food provided in the mess is better in comparison with other colleges. Water Cooler is there 24*7 light facility

External Expense: Rs.10000 - Rs.15000

Alumni/Alumna

The students are connected to their seniors by their own contact. there are friendly, loving seniors who guide us when we need but there is no such common network of alumni they get connected to only those students they know.

Exam Structure

There are 4 exams every semester: ST1: it is sessional test 1 which is an exam of unit1 ST2: it is sessional test 2 which is an exam of unit 2, 3 PUT: it is a pre-university test which includes overall syllabus and conduct as practise paper for final exams UT: it is University Test which is the Final exam.

Admission

The Admission procedure is: There is an entrance exam conducted by AKTU every year for 12th pass out students to get admission for B.Tech. The form comes out around Nov-Dec and exam held at the month of April-May. after that result is announced on May-June, once the result is declared the date for filling the counselling form is out then you have to fill counselling form and according to your rank, you will get college accordingly and then you required to get updated for further process. I had given the entrance exam of AKTU and got 5000 General rank, as it is the best private college of AKTU so, I fill it at the top among all private colleges at the time of counselling and got it with CSE branch.

Faculties of the college are also good. Most of the Faculties are done M.Tech. , most of them have done a PhD in their specialized field. They are also indulged in research work and they also teach well.

My overall Journey

Likes

Everything was good except placements.
Campus was so engaging , has a beautiful campus , one can get to learn a lot .
Faculties was from either IIT's or NIT's with good humor and knowledge.

Dislikes

Student has to suffer a lot during placements for students who are from Biotechnology .
No one takes responsibility , if a student is unplaced.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become elligible for campus placements.From top companies like google , microsoft to new startups like Raspa , Protium all companes visits , Highest package was 96 LPA , 40% students get placed , rest suffers , if one is from core branch then they get chances for PSUs and other organization.

My college life was a rollar coaster comedy life.

Likes

The first aspect of the college that I would like to appreciate was the class size but apart from that the infrastructure like class bench were not in proper condition which truly need to be in concern like many sideways.
The learning facility of the college like in terms of infrastructure and and the resources were really good and faculty where also the supporting too much.
The effectiveness of placement services and the support provided for career advice advancement I would like to say most of the student where Got placed in very reputable position in company which you can also locate them on LinkedIn ID they are .

Dislikes

The first thing that I don't like about the colleges the they say that there is 100% placement which is completely not whether it is our college or other College it's never up to the mark.
Second thing I didn't dislike about the colleges that the mindset of student they were it's okay that they were competitive but like they were the kind of leg pulling person throughout the semester they didn't like to see somebody gaining more.

Placement Experience:

Speaking about the campus placement and internship opportunity the company visit for this college campus where not so good like they were decent labeled but not that high profile company apart from this the college also provided internship for deserving candidate where applying and most not always getting but let me tell you you have to also work hard no college used to give complete internship and placement either it's our college or you can take another college also the same condition so if you are thinking guaranteed internship and college placement so I would like to recommend work hard, if you literally want on campus placement. Don't get this pointed if you are not getting placement from college you can apply for self help also as it is a digital AI and lots of job companies like LinkedIn and reputable websites are also there to apply for just I would like to say build your skill ,upskill yourself throughout the college semester period workout also on your psychic like body posture and good looking and personality developing developing which is most important criteria plus charm in the job purpose and you will give a good status.

I really liked the faculty, and the environment of this college, the peers really helpful and competitive and great learning experience.

Dislikes

There is so much happening in college that it gets a little bit confusing sometimes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because its really a noble profession and I would like to contribute by best into this course. The curriculum preparess me for the real world applications really well especially moot courts. The teaching methods of the teachers are really fun and engaging they interact with the whole class. Makes it easy to understand the subject. No improvemnets needed right now. The exams are of moderate level and of 2hrs max internals and helps in improving.

Likes

I like the Teacher behavior and attitudes
I like the Sports curriculum , they conduct sports event monthly
I like the admin office, because it always neat and clean

Dislikes

The hostel and mess food is not good as expected
The placement system is too bad , no proper support
The student facilities is not good , like lifts etc

Placement Experience:

If you are BTech CSE student , you dont need to worry more because they invite good number of companies to take placement , but you need that particular skills to get placed. Almost 40 to 50% student got placement for an average of 4.5 LPA

The Placement of our College is quite good just because the university open recently on year 2021. The Average Placement is 4,00,000 per annum. And Higher Placement is 8,00,000 per annum. There is many companies who visited in our college like Suzuki,Eefco, Reliance,etc

Unveiling Campus Life and Academic Excellence

Likes

Professer behavior is very cool and good
Classes is conducted in normal class in which some classes have A.C while some not
Campus area is so big in which staff parking and student parking is separtely available

Dislikes

College time is bad . It is same as school timing
Student must maintain 75% attendence to avoid detention in CIA
It does not give a proper break after semester exam

Placement Experience:

The placement is average as same as other college . It provide 6-12 LPA package for who have skills as market required The placement criteria for student is above 8 CGP and no backlogs in all semester My plans after getting the degree is to join a good company for a good life The percentage of getting placements is above 80%

Think before you opt for this college.

Likes

The infrastructure and greenery was really good. Play grounds, running track and a sports building. There were respective charges for availing any sports facility like gym, swimming etc.
College fest was average with the college inviting well known artists like Milind Gabba, Nikita Gandhi, Raftar etc.
Girls- boys ration is good but the quality of students and environment is below average.

Dislikes

None of the teachers were highly trained to teach subject matter. The administration was always finding ways to fine students may it be for attendance or any hostel related expenses.
Hostel food was real trash. After even complaining on a regular basis it was upto no good.
There were many restrictions for hostel students like for even going out we needed passes and had to call our parents, they don't provide leave if u want to go home during the session.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are been done but they force u to sit for non core companies. Like I was doing BCA and I had to sit for slaes, marketing and in field sales persons job interviews. Mass eecruiters like infosys and wipro also came which they take like 200 to 300 students.

Admission:

To get admission, I had to first fill application form and then pay a small fee for applying to the college, then after submitting the marks scored in 10+2, students were called for a campus interview upon which the students were selected.

1) I had applied for colleges like jss noida,gl bajaj , kiet , akgec through UPTAC counselling for those who gave JEE Exam. i preferred this college because after reading reviews about it ,consulting senior students. 2) I could get this college based on my rank . I chose this college as in previous times it was doing quite good in placements and but now most of the students are unplaced. Other colleges I've applied to are JSS noida, Galgotias etc are these colleges got a better placement ratio that my college. But campus of other campus are smaller compared to AKGEC. so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More
