I like the hostel and facilities over here....they are average compare to orther colleges....you can this collechoosege is you are in uttar pradesh but if you are from other state the don't choose this college

Dislikes

The faculty is not good at all...they just come and go
The infrastructure is also not that good...wall are not painted
The faculty and everyone is very strict and don't talk nicely

I choose this coarse because i have always heard that you get placements in btech...but the competition is really tough now a days so you have to study hard for securing a good life...so be serious and think properly before choosing this coarse

There are no such events in the college over here ...no fest ...no singers come here...the biggest function that happens ...is freshers and farewell....that event in nice and you can only enjoy that...

Hostel Facilities

I live in a three seater room ....my fees in 1 lakh 20 thousand....and hostel is above average i would say....food is also okay ...you can survive here....sometime you will not like the food but most of the time you can eat it

Admission

I wanted to choose fashion designing and follow my passion but due to family pressure and job security....i choose btech...but i am not that good in studies now because i don't like these subject as all

Faculty

There are 75 students in my class...and there are 6 different faculty for 6 different subjects...the exams are moderate but you can find them difficult in 1st year ....you have to study for scoring good marks

Night Life

There is a gym in college hostel both boys and girls ....there is library also....cafeteria is quite average...girls hostel is very strict in terms of timing if you are in first year then the in time is 4:30 and 2nd year is 5:00

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and keep up with the evolving trends of industry. It balance Theoretical and knowledge and practical application, helping students build a strong foundation in core subjects like programming mathematics and engineering fundamentals. The curriculum Includ Laboratory session Projects and tutorials that enhance understanding beyond the textbooks It also allows students to choose elective in later semester which adds flexibility and depth to learn. In terms of revevance, most subjects are designed to align with current industry requirements especially in field like computer science and electronics the inclusion of emerging technologies such as ai data science and web development makes it quite comprehensive. However a few areas could be improved such as integrating more industry based project and updating some older Syllabus to match modern tools and frameworks. Overall the curriculum is relevant ,comprehensive and career-oriented providing a solid base for both higher studies and professional development.

My Opinion about GL BAJAJ INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT

Placement Experience:

The student are available for placement from the starting of the 4th year of 7th semester. There's are lot of decent companies that come to our college like TCS, INFOSYS, MICROSOFT, CAPGEMINI etc The highest placement of my college is about 58 lpa and the average placement of my college is about 7.5lpa The 90 percentage of the students who participated in the placement are being placed rest are gone for their higher studies. My planned after getting my degree is to grab a decent package from the college and started my career.

Recently Infosys visited our college, however the average and highest package was not yet declared but we have heard rumours that the highest package is somewhat around 30 LPA. The percentage of students getting placement is around 65%. My plans after getting this degree is applying for external placements as well.

Unfiltered review and reality of My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.

so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More

Cutoffs are nothing but the marks obtained by the last student being declared qualified. To make it more clear, let's take an example. Suppose 1000 students sit in an exam. Several students who need to be called for counseling are supposed to 500. Now, A rank list is prepared based on the total marks obtained. The marks of the 500th student are taken as the cutoff.
