- I enjoyed the first year hostel life and it was quite good for all the new admission students.

Dislikes
- Mess food was very bad after 2 months and it was frustating as you need to spend money for eating outside in every 1-2 days.
- Course curriculum is very outdated for our modern time
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is outdated for core branches and does not benefit as the exam question are very predictable and same questions comes every 1-2 year. And it's just memorising but not practical as it should.
Fees and Financial Aid
At AKGEC Ghaziabad, the B.tech fee is 1,42,156 for the first year and 1,15,656 for the remaining years. Fee Waiver (FW) category students pay 41,014 in the first year. Hostel fees are 1,30,000 per year. The tution fee has remained stable but increases every year by 10,000 and also the course fee is also increasing by substantial amount every year for each course.
Campus Life
Campus life was good if you have good friends around you, infrastructue was decent and not too good. There are many clubs for tech and cultural aspect like Euphony for music, V-verve for fashion etc..
Hostel Facilities
Hostel wifi works fine but not always, food was below average after 2 months and room allocated was a two seater for all the boys in the first year and it was good if I talk about infrastructure. But don't go hostel after first year. Hostel guards are going to be a headache.
Admission
I chose this college as in previous times it was doing quite good in placements and but now most of the students are unplaced. Other colleges I've applied to are JSS noida, Galgotias etc are these colleges got a better placement ratio that my college. But campus of other campus are smaller compared to AKGEC. Admission is through JEE mains and applying to counselling of AKTU colleges.
Faculty
There are many faculties who are very strict and just waste time by scrolling presentation on the board. Most faculty members are not supportive and take too much time for any work to get it done. Course structure is by AKTU, but this college is going to become a fully individual private one.
Night Life
Nightlife is going is to boring if I talk about things to do inside campus or outside near the college. Guards don't permit students to roam around campus after 8pm for first years. Campus is isolated and near the national highway, so can't do pretty much.
