AKGEC Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The placements right now are not that good as there is a large competition in IT sector and hence the placement is not that good.... Not even 25% of final yr students get placed and those placed , are placed at very average LPA... about 4.5-5 LPA . Hardly 2 or 3 students get package of 20+LPA . If not placed on campus then one can go for GATE exam and can sit for master's degree and then will get a better placement otherwise off campus placements. After 4th or 5 th semester students can sit for the campus placements. Companis like TCS, ACCENTURE, HCL, TATA, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT , etc visits but the number of offers made are very less about 15%-20% of total students sitting for campus placements. Highest package are about 25-30LPA average package is 5 LPA percentage of students getting placed are about 20-25% through campus my plan is to get the on campus placement... if somehoe I fail, the off campus placements...

1) students become eligible for placements from 7th semester onwards. 2) many companies visit our college like asbl,shl,deloitte,infosys,hcl tech , To the new and many startup based companies 3) highest package on campus was around 14 lpa and average package was around 4-4.5 LPA. 4) around 600-700 students got placed out of 1100 students. 5) my plan is to do masters.

There is a slot decline in the placement these years , onwards 3rd year student become eligible, basically I am enrolled in btech so definitely I'll be getting a tech firm job. Basiclly I'll be sitting in campus placement and do a job to launch my startup

Number of students placed or percentage of placement is good but the average placement is lower and most of the students are getting placed at 3.5 lpa which is not decent. Students become eligible for placement in 4th year. Also number of good companies visit is decreasing

placemenys of our college is really goodin comparison to all the private college of aktu in up ...all the famous companies came to our college for placements ...companies like amazon flipkart goldman sachs new gen technologies etc...

Students are eligible to sit in campus placements from 7th semester itself. top big companies like facebook, Delloite visit the campus to recruit engineers. About 95% students are placed and 80% students recieve dream offers ranging from 15-18 lpa. the highest package was lpa and average package is 8lpa.

Course curriculum is outdated for core branches and does not benefit as the exam question are very predictable and same questions comes every 1-2 year. And it's just memorising but not practical as it should.

The course curriculum according to me was good and there are claims why to follow an old regime but the gate syllabus is also the same so why gate is following that, so the overall needs to change rather than one university.

course curriculum is just worse and not worth joining it. course is very outdated and not worth wasting time to study it for getting required knowledge . the knowledge they provide is very irrelevant to know .

The curriculum is not uptodated as this is an AKTU based college , so syllabus needs to be revised and should be made in such a way that it should realte to real field scenerio. Firstly the college should develop a competetive programming environment so that students gets excited and focus more on real thing rather than just academics.
