simple if you take any cs/it branches just go for it because they are almost same but my faculty teachers are great they help you a lot in academic basis. the cirriculum of aktu is very old so you might feel that this is too boring but it is it what it is you have to study that the college should reduce the classes timing so that student can focus on their individuial skills the college takes two sessional test and one pre university test and the last university test so it is not that much hard just attend all the lectures and make proper notes and you can pass all the exams .

the college offers many opportunity for internship and placement so just you have to focus on your skills the college will provide you many opportunity the companies are DLTlabs , MICROCHIPS LIMITED etc and stipend is not mentioned by the college but they get the role of embedded systems and iot , graphical programming interface etc the student usually get internship from the college and you may also try for off camus also

in the college you get many opportunity in training and placement because college help you a lot in this factor .its upto you that you want it or not . from the 6sem you are eligible for the internship but the college sometimes cause problem in giving noc so you have to request a lot. try to be any technical society it will help you a lot. this year around 300+ companies visited and around 1800 offers are made (the actual data is not still provided by college) the companies visited are amazon,wipro,walmart,tcs etc and the average package is about 400000 and the highest package is about 34lpa . this year about 90% students gets placed from the college and you may try for offcampus also.

the college year wise fees 122000 .which includes your tution fees , development fees and lab fees the registration fees is 20000 which is one time but before your registration in aktu exams you have to pay the exam fees which is about 7500 every year the fees is same for all. you can get fee wavier if you get seat in college through fee wavier category in uptac counselling . there is an up goverment scholarships of about 60000 per year but you have to register for it and they have there terms and condition.

there is no cultural fest organize by the college. but the college make some events in which you can enjoy . there is a technical clubs try to join them it will helps you to enhance your skills and the technical society also held many hackatons and many other events . there are many cultural society in which you can participate for your overall personality development many cultural society held events in iits and other college so you will experience great exposure. the college have one central library so you can study there it contains large amount of books . the classroom now have ac they have digital boards in which they teach many labs for all branch students . the akgec have the best ranking in cricket and football as compared to other colleges in uptac. so the college offers many sports opportunity. but if you dont participate in any of the clubs or sports you will be bored only because you dont have anything to do just study and you cant enjoy your college life

the hostel is decent the rooms are wide enough and the mess food is okay the food menu is okay the hostel have gym in it the two badmintion court and one table tennis room and one library in it .the hostel maintain proper hygine in washroom so you will never fell bored in college. the hostel have about 600 capacity around 300 rooms so the registration process is hard to get hostel you have to first fill form and then wait for 1-2 hrs if your name come in list then the hostel will be given otherwise no hostel will be given to you. there are many pg and rooms near the hostel you have a look over it i don't have much idea on it.

so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches.

the faculty is supportive helps in every aspect but not in terms of attendence so you have to maintain a good attendance in the classes . there are basically three exams which college will take 2 st (sessional test ) and 1put (pre university exams) and the end will be university exam the exams are not that much hard if you attend the classes regularly and just maintain notes you will attain great marks in exams and get passed in almost all exams.

the nightlife in the campus is like dull the lights are mainly off you will feel darkness all around and the college cafeterias close on college time opens till 5pm that is the major problem in the college campus there is a sitting area near canteens but in night there is no lights so no use of it if you are living in the hostel the boys have the intime till 10pm and if you inform warden it extend upto 11pm no issue in in timing but in girls hostel the intime is only 7pm. the college is at the safe place you will not feel any area unsafe the college have guards on duty at every place so safety is not the issue .
