Likes
- The infrastructure and greenery was really good. Play grounds, running track and a sports building. There were respective charges for availing any sports facility like gym, swimming etc.
- College fest was average with the college inviting well known artists like Milind Gabba, Nikita Gandhi, Raftar etc.
- Girls- boys ration is good but the quality of students and environment is below average.
Dislikes
- None of the teachers were highly trained to teach subject matter. The administration was always finding ways to fine students may it be for attendance or any hostel related expenses.
- Hostel food was real trash. After even complaining on a regular basis it was upto no good.
- There were many restrictions for hostel students like for even going out we needed passes and had to call our parents, they don't provide leave if u want to go home during the session.
Course Curriculum Overview
Cirriculum was basics required for computer science that I had already studied in 12th CBSE. Coding was near to nowhere to be found. The course was outsated and need to be updated according to todays need.
Placement Experience
Campus placement are been done but they force u to sit for non core companies. Like I was doing BCA and I had to sit for slaes, marketing and in field sales persons job interviews. Mass eecruiters like infosys and wipro also came which they take like 200 to 300 students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Year wise fee - 1.2 lac( including all ) There is a scholarship for Jain minority and tution fee is only 20% of the original course price. Only UP state gov. scholarship is valid here. Course fee have probably been increased in the past 3 years.
Campus Life
Clubs are not presents, fests are there but too dull, only the college fest was good with dj noghts etc. Tech fest was quite good but it was organised by btech and our professional couse tech fest Sparks was discontinued for unknown reasons.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are a two sharing rooms, with bed, chairs, table and a locker. Cleaning is done regularly which was good. U cannont use any electrical appliances and no ac rooms are available. If u want to have a cooler they charge u for that. Mess food was real tragic, with sometimes students finding bugs and insects in food.
Admission
I was a fool. They didn't have any admission process. They sent there representatives to various locations in India with partnering with some agencies to arrange a counselling session. They basically brainwash parent and students by showing good infrastructure and telling that the college is in Delhi NCR, which is far from the truth.
Faculty
BCA course is outdated, they r affiliated to CCS University, Meerut. Faculty keep on changing, with sometime people teaching out of there domain. However good u give exams internal marks are bases on ur attendance and assignment submission. University exams are also same however good u write paper they give average like 60-75% to maximum students.
