Good college

RCERT Chandrapur College has good staff ( teaching as well as non-teaching). Every festival and event is been done in our college. So, all over it is good college in Chandrapur.

The RCERT college belongs to Gondwana University, Gadchiroli, Maharashtra. Our course is semester pattern and after every semester we have to go through 1-month training in the core field. By the final year, we have to complete a minimum 2 numbers of training. If training is not completed then we can not appear for semester examination.

300+ students are been placed every year in RCERT. But the package is less. More than 20 companies visit our college every year. Last year maximum annual package was of 8 Lakhs for 3 students of Mining Engineering

Every festival is been celebrated in the college. For every fresher's branch Freshers party is been arranged on the college campus. By the fresher's party every student is been introduced to every student. In winter season Sports competition is been organized in college. The competition is held between Department. Farewell party is also arranged for final year students before they complete their semester.

Fees structure is on the basis of student caste. Fresh student of SC and ST 6500/- fees for 1 year. And for OBC around 45000/- fees per year. And for Open caste around 1.2 lakh per year. The student can apply for their Scholarship or Freeship. For SC and ST caste only 200/- fees after the first payment of 6500/-

I belong to schedule caste so, I can apply for scholarship or freeship any one of them per year. By scholarship we get around 10,000/- per year from the government of India, in our bank account and the tuition fee is directly been paid to college around 1 lakh for every scholarship student.

RCERT campus is of 42 acres and has 7 departments. Girl's ratio is less in our college as compare to boys. Because less number of girls comes in Engineering. Every sport is been played in our college. Every department has its laboratory to perform practicals.

Yes, senior students are very helpful in nature. They suggest to us how notes and what to do after the engineering competition.

Via cap round, I have selected in 2nd round of cap. After 10th I have done my 12th in computer science branch and then Diploma in Mining and mine surveying. After Diploma, I have filled the cap round form and got selected in RCERT, Chandrapur in 2nd round. I got admission indirect 2nd year because of Diploma. In September the Cap round process is finished and I have taken admission in RCERT.

RCERT college faculty is good. All the lectures have done their M.Tech and Ph.D. in their core breach. The lab assistant is also highly educated. Regular classes are taken at our college. Our HOD have completed their Ph.D. in Surveying, and he is now head of Gondwana University, Gadchiroli, Maharashtra
