- I loved the way the campus life is. Because there's just nature completely surrounded and it's really a pleasure to study in such a prestigious college is what I feel. The faculty members are really good and the staff are supportive.
Dislikes
- The quality of the hardware labs especially in core branches has to be improved is what I feel, otherwise the college is too good to go! You'll never regret joining here. Also letting you know that some teachers might be targetive towards you .
Course Curriculum Overview
My course that is electronics and telecommunication is worth choosing. It's just a sister branch of ece . The pros are that you would get job both in IT and non IT sectors which includes government jobs as well. Overall the course is good it differs from ece just by one subject at the final year.
Fees and Financial Aid
I paid 1,15,000 as first year fee 92,000 as second year fee So the fee will be deducted year by year and trust me the coaching is just worth the fee. I got through kcet so the fee is bit low or the management fee would cost even more higher.
Campus Life
Kalanjali and verve are the 2 fests held in our college annually. The library especially which is nearly constructed is just ultimate, it's really spacious and peace giving. It also contains almost all kinds of books. We do have smart classes enabled with the help of projector's which also serves a good understanding. Sports in our college are really good students get various opportunities to showcase talents and are recognised. Spandana- the outreach club of Sir MVIT provides funds and many helps to the needy in terms of health
Admission
I chose this college because I feel this is the best top college ever seen and I had also a decent ranking which suits me to get into the college so. While the placements aren't good or below par in many other colleges, our college is different- it really does have good placements every now and then. I couldn't make it to other college because I had no other college on my mind than this college. The admission process was quiet linear, I got through by kcet exam. I applied to almost every college located in bangalore and in rounds i got seacet and rrce but I didn't opt them due to the college and course point of view. I felt Sirmvit is the best in all parameters to be considered . The eligibility is that you gotta have a decent ranking to get into or have a reservation quota or something .
Faculty
As I said , the faculty members are really good but some might treat you based on you behaviour, which is an usual trait of a teacher. We get internals once in a month and the questions asked are reasonable and what appears for the main examination. The evaluation is also a quite linient process ensuring that the student scores maximum in internals.
Night Life
Students are asked to get into the hostel with 8pm . And it's also noted that the roaming in night time leads to serious issues like accidents and all. So is a student's individual responsibility to start in her/his safety.
