Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is relevant but, there is a lack of clinical or other exposures like camps or visits. However since this is a government college, a lot of holidays will be there, so the attendance is usually maintained. But even if notes are provided, people should also study by themselves.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fee is 7600 only. Registration fee is 750 only. Students can avail different government scholarships and they will need to not have any backlogs if they still want to avail the Scholarships. Students can take part in the NCC camps.

Campus Life

3

The campus is very small, with two libraries and people can borrow books from both the libraries. There are seminar halls, two, one in each building, there is a different science building and arts building. A canteen is also there. Lots of washrooms and pad dispensing machines.

Admission

This college is morning college, so I had a lot of time to study the content and engage is other cocurricular activities like singing or guitar. There is no exams as such, however people will have to apply through the portal and have to pay a very small fee for registration. Exams fee should be paid after people have enrolled their subjects into the Calcutta University portal and pay a very small amount of fee.

Faculty

5

The faculty members were very good. The Student teacher ratio is small and precise. Each faculty member is approachable and will immediately help. For certain teachers students can call and ask for help any time.

Night Life

1

The college ends by 3 pm so there is no night life in the college. The college is usually between 6.30 am to 3.30 pm. Students can avail the services in college during this time. There are no Gyms. There is a public room in both buildings.
