Course Curriculum Overview

4

It has a clinical specialization which I needed for myself, this making me choose this course. Papers may come with respect to theories as taught in class or they may test your understanding of the concepts. Most of the resources are provided, however it will be helpful if more resources are provided. It will seem almost impossible to give continuous exams each month while attending classes. Also attendence is very strictly monitored.

Internships Opportunities

5

Personally I have not yet recieved any opportunity, but I have heard, the college provides one internship opportunity to its students. For Masters in psychology, there is a clinic where students get hands on experience in how to deal and speak with clients.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Tuition fee is 61,250, the registration fee is 50,000 which can be paid in parts. The registration fee is 1,600. The total Fee comes upto 1,74, 100 as the even semester fee is to be paid before the odd semester examination.

Campus Life

4

There is an annual fest named Login, which takes place in December. There are a lot of books and resources available in the two libraries. The classrooms have projectors for easy access. Sports and other colleges fests are happening all the time. Students are friendly.

Admission

I chose this college as it is in Kolkata and if has clinical psychology. My parents did not want me to go to Bengaluru to Kristu Jayanti University or Christ University, where I had applied as they had masters in Clinical Psychology and Psycho-oncology. I got confirmation from Kristu after I appeared for the interview.

Faculty

3

The faculty is approachable and the professors listen to students and come to decisions. There are 4 exams that are taken each month, a set of 4 exams will be taken for masters each month. The course curriculum is relevant. Students can fail if they do not study at all. But they can score marks as well.

Night Life

4

The college closed at 6, so there is usually no night life. People hand out in front of the NCMT building or a cafe named Chatter and Platter, the stuff are kind and very friendly, and there are lots of dogs and cats roaming about.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My decision to choose this course depended on the fact that this course provides you with the opportunity to get various jobs in the industries with a high lpa. But this college does not help much in that aspect. All I had to do was myself. It is my humble opinion that the institution should improve its guidance in the area of its teaching methods. The exams were twice a year and were quite difficult on their own.
