Beautiful NIT Kuruskehtra

The curriculum of the course is well designed and many positives are taken into consideration , infcat our course is almost inclined to that of CS so it is like a specialization of CS in this college particulary . Real world applications are no as such . The exams timing are generally morning or evening shift ie 9 onwards and 2 PM onwards for eve shift

Placements of the college is decent according to me , this college has a lower edge in terms of location i think otherwise this college would have a better placaments stats but still it is fine for me at the end of day it depends on the potential of individual . Highest package of the college is 1.2CPA and Average package rounds about to 15LPA

The college on the basis of fee structure is worth it according to me like there is not a waste of single penny , Fees of students vary from student to student's category , like for SC/ST there is a 100%fee waiver on the other hand for those belonging to EWS there is 66% fee waiver and those belonging to General they have to pay the full fees which round abouts to 80K per semester excluding the mess fee

Campus life of the college is good enough there are various societies and clubs for students for the senior interaction and also socializing us . Library in the campus is very vast it includes a reading room as well which is well equipped with air conditioners and a pin drop silence

Hostel facility is not so good like one needs to compromise here as well it is like a typical government hostel rooms not soo well equipped no air conditioners and strict regarding the electricity usage . Going with the PG is a better option if you can not compromise with that . Meal quality degrades over the time initially it will attract you but as the time passes it will degrade and Degrade

I applied for BITSAT as well and scored good enough to get into tthat college with a decent branch but due to the fees of BITS i quit the idea of getting into that college and chose NIT over BITS . Admission process of my college was a bit lengthy but the simple one , We had to submit our documents while physical reporting and yes thats all

Faculties are well educated and qualified , they provide us with the best of the knowledge of the subject and have a good hold over the subject and apart from teaching us they indulge us in the class in such a way that it becomes very interesting for us to pay attention . Exam here are held in three phases in a semester Midsem 1, Midsem 2 , Endsem , Midsem holds almost 30 marks and endsems holds 50 marks and rest of 20 marks goes in internal and Practicals

Night life around the campus is not so good like there is no as such famous outlets of the famous brand like McD or Dominoes so we have to compromise with that but yes still can sustain Gym is there in the campus which contains alsomt all essential equipments but i dont generally go to gym so have no idea over it Famous hangout place is Moxie and NIT Market or Market of KU
